The indigene bill has nothing to do with tribe. It refers strictly to state of residence and spousal relationship with and indigene of a STATE.

You should be able to see through the paranoia of these Yorubas from outside Lagos. They don't care about Akure, Ekiti, Ogbomosho etc. They just don't want to lose Lagos or have serious competition with people of other tribes born and raised in Lagos.

It will significantly reduce tribalism because people will be encouraged to settle outside their ancestral lands without the fear of being second class residents.
