Dr. Oyenusi, one of the robbers, threw a goat meat pepper soup party. He had bought the goat a few days before his arrest by the police. When asked what his last wishes were, he requested that the police slaughter the goat they had taken from him earlier and make pepper soup for him. A wish police granted. Imagine the balls.
something similar happened during dimka's trials,he was said to be drinking beer during the questioning by the tribunal panel,he was said to have demanded a salute by the soldier that shot him claiming he was superior to him!

My family lived on Adeniyi Jones Avenue Ikeja at the time and WAHUM was just a few houses from ours.

I was only a baby then but remember hearing about the infamous Oyenusi. The incident was spoken about for years after, especially after Oyenusi was executed at the bar beach

Why do you allow kidnappers to emerge from among us to be politicians huh

anonimi:
“The worst illiterate is the political illiterate, he doesn’t hear, doesn’t speak, nor participates in the political events.

He doesn’t know the cost of life, the price of the bean, of the fish, of the flour, of the rent, of the shoes and of the medicine, all depends on political decisions. The political illiterate is so stupid that he is proud and swells his chest saying that he hates politics.

The slowpoke doesn’t know that, from his political ignorance is born the prostitute, the abandoned child, and the worst thieves of all, the bad politician, corrupted and flunky of the national and multinational companies.”

All this ranting and raving over kilode.

You bastards, consumed by your innate hate, are not even able to differentiate Igbo names from those of the rest of Nigerians from the southsouth and north central.
To you, every name that's not Yoruba and hausa/fulani is Igbo! Horrible things!

This one has appointed himself the PRO of armed robbers. I can bet anything that you're Igbo. You criminals can defend even the devil. There's no type of crime you cannot defend.

I said it.
If Ohaneze is not begging for criminals, you lot are defending armed robbers.
That's how you gave an armed robber and kidnapper called Osisikanwu a chieftaincy title.
Abuse and insults are the game of weak people who have nothing to say.

Satap making excuse for criminals, death by firing is the only solution to today's crime
You don't have to be abusive, old girl.

Plus I don't excuse crime. Crime continues despite our best effort because people are evil.

Yet it must still be punished. Punishment on its own won't cure the disease, dear boy

The name oyenusi, Big Joe and Shina Rambo shook households down to their foundations.

These guys were the foremost armed robbers and bandits before the advent of slice bread.
Point of correction: Mighty Joe. Real name: Isiaka Busari.

Joel Amamieye?

I thought the naval personnel was Sub Lt William Alders Oyazimo, executed with Babatunde Folorunsho.

Serious armed robbery started after the Civil war, due to arm proliferation.

Won't work. We will just keep shooting and shooting people, and the root of the problem would be there.

Remember, the heart of man is evil. The best we can do is improve education, improve access to education, good health and housing, and public facilites, end corruption, and so forth.

But even if we turn Nigeria into a good country today, remember that an armed robber can in one operation net far more money than most people would see in a year. Some people prefer to surrennder to their baser natures and take that risk. Some people would rather take the easy way of crime, than work hard for a living. In their mind working hard for a living is for jokers.

It does not matter whether we do firing squad, or life in prision. Someone somehwere is always going to choose crime.

And this does not mean we should never fight or punish crime
Death sentence and implementation of it is a hard decision that our leader cannot hide away from for too long. They have to do it the hard way. Crimes and criminality is too much prevalent, such hard steps has to be taken against them
