Here, I also agree with you. I suppose in anticipation of any future retaliatory moves by the Fulani Terrorists, they really need to ramp up every enforcement mechanism and defensive measures as well as take full addvantage of the "high ground" advantage the Plateau topography naturally offers.

Some mad dog Fulani Terrorist organization in Kaduna a few days ago declared war on every Plateau ethnic group claiming that the existing Military structures in Plateau (that they can no longer control to do their bidding as before)--are arresting or killing their members. Evidently if you connect the dots, you may deduce that that may have fueled their recent attacks too. The blood-letting in Benue is connected to an Open grazing ban that was defied by the Terrorists who took it upon themselves to also attack their hosts. Their well known pattern of attack is to send out innocent looking scouts to diverse villages to "blend in" to be able to study the patterns of the natives day and night. Then they pick out isolated villages around the edges and come like a Zombie horde swarm in the night in their hundreds with machine guns.

Relying on the existing FG security apparatus is inadequate. In anticipation of the escalated retialations from being booted out with their cows--all the abled indigenous people need to be armed. Self-defensive automatic weapons have to be legalized.

I'm in Total agreement that we need to legalize arms even if it's not assault rifle at least shotguns should be legalized to give people a fighting chance. The state governor should arm their local vigilante and get them prepared for future attacks.

The enforcement of policies is where dreams die in this country.

PBAT should consider declaring State of Emergency in Plateau State on grounds of insecurity else a lot of ethnic groups in that State will be wiped out by Fulani marauders . remove the incompetent Mutfwang or whatever he calls himself and appont a Military administrator to go after the killers and secure Plateau State.

Some people have no business being leaders.. the security votes meant to protect citizens in their State are being diverted to their private pockets.. Later they'll tell their people to blame FG.

The President said he has offered some solutions to the Governor several times but he didn't implement them. Unfortunately, it takes a very sad series of incident for him to implement it. As Governor of a state, you have the power to ban open grazing and implement such a ban through state laws and also enforce it through states law enforcement outfits. You don't have to be politically correct and pander to some people at the detriment of the lives of your citizens.
It is quite unfortunate that the man who confessed he paid off the killers during his time as Governor, is rather more concerned about coalition than talking to his kinsmen to sheath their swords and return to wherever they came from.

Yea, to me the governor is weak. Why must your people be massacred in that way & all he does is just to ban grazing in the night. He shouldn't depend on federal security agencies. He should learn from experiences in the South. He should mobilize the locals to ensure their security. Once there is good communication among the locals with good emergency security response from the government, the incessant attacks will reduce. And all those caught in the act should be thoroughly investigated to get to the root of the crises and dealt with accordingly.
