Customs Disrupt Bandits’ Supply Chain, Seize 12,880 Litres Of Petrol In Niger by TimeManager(op): 3:16pm On Apr 17, 2025
The Nigeria Customs Service has made a significant seizure of 12,500 litres of petrol worth over ₦25 million which was intercepted from suppliers of bandits within the Babanna Border area of Niger State.

During a press briefing in Minna, North Central Nigeria, Ejibunu highlighted the security threats posed by the Lakurawa terrorist group along the fringes of Kebbi State.

He revealed that the group has claimed lives, including three officers lost in a recent attack in Bashaga village in Kebbi State.

The Comptroller Niger-Kogi command of the Customs, Pascal Chibuoke, commended the efforts of the locals and sister security agencies in making the seizure possible.

This interception is part of the Nigeria Customs Service’s efforts to disrupt the supply chain of bandits and terrorists in the region.

Can insecurity end in the North?. Are these bad guys human beings at all?. These are locals collaborating with the bandits and guess what, 25 million naira is no small amount, meaning rich people, influential people are funding this insecurity. Upon the outcry all over the country, these sponsors don't seem to give a hoot how many people die.

In a home where there is no father figure/parental guides the children are likely to stray.

The people who are entrusted with overseeing the affairs are those recruiting the venerable ones to breach it for self aggrandizement.

I have always belief that just one good head at the “toppest” will make a significant difference

But the question that begs the Answer, Are we really ready?

I seriously don't know what these people are fighting for, one thing I know is that, their plot is to collect power from the south 2027, Tinubu isn't like Jonathan, lol. They are welcome to try, but they'll fail. What the president should do is to get rid of those menace killing the people of middle belt, that way, he'll get the support of the middle beltans.

Tinubu illegitimate government is pretending to fight insurgency.

I'll know they're serious when they start arresting sponsors together with the foot soldiers.

For a start, they can start with the UAE Bokoharam sponsor list that was sent to Buhari's govt (its still APC govt)

North major apart from agricultural products contribution to National growth is insecurity...infact they invest massively into terrorism....but everywhere is quite....human beings are daily killed in the North by fulani terrorists without challenge from the military..what a shame now we celebrate confiscating petrol from bandits suppliers
...meanwhile no arrest was made ...they arrested kegs of petrol and paraded it
