I honestly don't think so sha, if the movie was glorifying a relationship between an adult and a minor I would have agreed but throughout the movie it was clear that it was an imagination and even when his student found out, he called it out to be inappropriate so I don't think it would receive any backlash but that's just me

Heavenly ever after is here. When I first heard that the writers of the light behind your eyes? Were writing another drama, I was interested but when I heard that they're also casting Kim hye ja and han ji min who were phenomenal in the light behind your eyes? I knew I was going to watch it. So far I like it. I don't think it's going to be as interesting as the light behind your eyes but its still a really good drama. I shed a few tears in some scenes lol. Now this is a drama with dark humor done right

I still can't figure out if byun woo seok and IU's drama is going to be sageuk or something like goong where it was a monarchy but they were in modern times. I really hope it's the second one so I can watch it cos if na sageuk,that's a no for me.

Random post: just wondering when fnc is going to officially debut their new band. I get that they probably want the boys to be very ready 🤷 (maybe) but what's the point in announcing and exposing them over a year now if you still haven't debuted them. I hope for their sake that the drama their main vocalist is going to be in will be very interesting cos that's the only way people can get interested in them as I'm sure most of the people initially interested in them would have moved on since last year. It's like jyp and his loud boys😩 built people's expectations then abandon them then debuted them when people had forgotten about them. S for sigh jinja

P.s: happy birthday to my favorite twins in the industry, Ryu hyoyoung and hwayoung. Problematic girlies but I'll probably continue to have a soft spot for them 😩

A good drama. Definitely a good drama but I don't know, I was left unsatisfied. I don't know how to explain it but I feel like it was slow paced but somehow also too fast to get over some things. I could never wrap my head around the timelines. For example, when jeongnyeon went to try to be a pop singer, how long exactly did she stay away from the theater cos she had time to practice pop singing, time to record and release a song, time to try to get on TV and even almost had her story in the newspaper but when she returned to the theater they made it seem like she was only absent for like 2 days 🤷 also the ending felt incomplete. I would have liked to see jeongnyeon as a bonafide theater king or queen, they could have added 2 more episodes for us to see the growth of her career instead of just ending the drama after their last performance. I also didn't like how Jung eun chae's character left the theater unceremoniously, it didn't seem consistent with her character and behavior so far. I get that she was probably frustrated and had given a lot of hints that she was bored with the life but the way she left was just a no for me. I was also not a fan of the ambiguity concerning the sexuality of most of the characters especially eun chae and yoon hye's. I'm assuming they were lesbians but couldn't the writer make it clearer if they were a couple or just friends. It did not make any sense to me that we couldn't clearly tell. I know mainstream channels do not show gay content but we have had dramas on mainstream channels that made it clear their characters were gay like matrimonial chaos, prison playbook, nevertheless etc so I don't know why this one didn't. Anyway like I said before good drama and the acting was a 10/10 all round. I was very heavily impressed by shin ye eun cos honestly I didn't know she could be that good at acting which makes absolutely no sense cos have I been sleeping under a rock.

My babies yeonwoo and Kim hyun jin are going to be leads in a drama. It's pretty much a web drama but I can't wait for the day they get to play leads in a mainstream drama especially yeonwoo. She has been doing well playing supporting roles and I need her to get to that lead role status like bona and chaeyeon. I will probably do a happy dance that day

Disney has officially announced they are holding off on filming Kim Soo hyun's drama indefinitely. I wonder if they'll decide to cast someone else since they have filmed up to half of the drama or if they'll just close that chapter forever. I feel bad for the scriptwriter sha if their work never gets to see the light of day cos of a stupid man*sigh* All I know is, I hope he managed his money well cos the amount he's going to pay Disney for basically destroying their contract no go be small money *grabs popcorn*

Well, I have finished watching weak hero class 2 and all I have to say is 🤭 weak hero class 1 was better lmao. Maybe I had my expectations too high but if I want to make an excuse for the director, I might say maybe it's cos the webtoon is very popular and everyone in Korea knows the story so the director didn't bother to dwell so much on building the connection between the guys and just went straight to the fighting but I guess that's exactly why I'm a fan of the director cos Season 1 was not from the webtoon but he wrote and directed it so well that the warmth and friendship between class 1 guys was definitely more pronounced than class 2 guys but anyway I still enjoyed watching my babies sha. I love the cast. LMAO I had to laugh when suho woke up from his coma. I know the director did that so that fans won't come for his head. Since season 1 ended, all everyone has been saying is that suho must not die so if he had killed his character, fans would have finished him on IG. Not bumseok being an a**hole both in real life and imagination tho. It's the consistency for me. All I need now is for Netflix to give me lots of cute promotional videos with this cast tbh Netflix has become stingy with promoting their recent dramas. I miss when cast used to play Jenga and do other fun stuff to promote their dramas. Can someone bring back Netflix of 2020-2022. that was my favorite Korean Netflix era😔

LMAO I'm going to put the blame on Netflix. People that have read the webtoon complained that they didn't include some of the characters from the webtoon and they mixed some characters into one, I just know if wavve had produced this like season 1 the writer might have followed the webtoon more closely but Netflix offers more money so of course every writer will want Netflix 😩
