Chilipepper:Same with other states especially lagos state, Nigeria has the highest number of people living with HIV, the reason why the stats is low is because most Nigerians don't want to do the test. |

elonize:Prep is like a preventive drug you take before having intercourse. If you're just starting, you need to take either 2 tablets 2 hours before intercourse or 1 tablet 7 hours before intercourse. After that, you need to take only one tablet daily at the same time or around the same time each day. You can stop taking it when you're sure you will not be exposed to sexual intercourse without protection. However, it is advised to stop 7 days after your last intercourse. Pep on the other hand is a drug given to you after you may have had sex with a positive person or someone who you think is positive. It is best to take it as soon as possible, but it can only be effective if taken within 72 hours of the exposure. You will need to take one tablet daily for 30 days. You can get these at NGOs or general hospitals, but they will test you first to be sure you don't already have HIV. Kudos! |

Olamila:This doesn't fall under the purview of lack of confidentiality. Infact,it's is in cases like this that principle of confidentiality is broken.when the public health is at risk! Its not a SECRET that Akwa Ibom and benue states have the highest prevalence of HIV in the country.Just Google it,it will be laid bear |
