ROTIMI AMAECHI LEADS NIGERIANS FOR BETTER FUTURE AHEAD OF 2027 ELECTIONS AS PRESIDENTIAL HOPEFUL
...Wondering which Political Platform will be used for Amaechi's 2027 Presidential Bid

Usman Musa Bello Reporting Live from Abuja...

Rotimi Amaechi, a former Minister of Transportation, has emerged as a key figure in the lead-up to the 2027 presidential elections.

As a potential presidential hopeful, Amaechi's comments on Nigerian society have sparked intense debate.

His statement about Nigerians being docile and unresponsive to significant issues, including extreme violence, highlights a concerning aspect of the country's social fabric.

Amaechi's remarks suggest that Nigerians might tolerate electoral malpractices, such as lack of transparency and vote rigging, without demanding change.

This perceived docility could perpetuate the cycle of poor leadership and undermine efforts to reform the electoral process.

To address this, citizens must participate in the electoral process, report electoral malpractices, and demand transparency and accountability from their leaders.

The docility Amaechi mentioned might also explain why Nigerians often accept security challenges, like insurgency and banditry, without pushing for more effective solutions.

This could exacerbate electoral violence and compromise the security of the nation.

Amaechi's potential presidential bid could bring attention to these security concerns and push for more effective solutions.

Amaechi's statement implies that Nigerians might not demand better institutional frameworks, such as improved electoral administration and campaign finance regulation.

This could perpetuate the status quo, where women hold less than 6% of political offices, and other institutional inadequacies persist.

Civil society organizations and advocacy groups can push for reforms, such as improved electoral administration and increased representation of women in politics.

To demand a better future, Nigerians must work together to break the cycle of docility.

This can be achieved through:

- Civic Engagement: Citizens participating in the electoral process and demanding transparency and accountability from their leaders.

- Advocacy: Civil society organizations and advocacy groups pushing for reforms, such as improved electoral administration and increased representation of women in politics.

- Leadership Accountability: Leaders being held accountable for their actions, and citizens demanding better governance and service delivery.

Amaechi's potential presidential bid could be a step towards addressing these challenges and promoting better leadership and accountability in Nigeria.

His rumored selection as a potential running mate for Atiku Abubakar, a presidential hopeful, has sparked interest in the political landscape ahead of the 2027 elections.

Looking at a beautiful picture in the struggle to replace Bola Tinubu as president of Nigeria in 2027 Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi remains a stronger and better force in partnership with the North.

Amaechi has the northern connect having been tested, trusted and charished by the North in 2015 and again in 2019 as the Buhari presidential campaign organization Director General who delivered twice for Buhari to become and return as president in 2015 and 2019 respectively.

The northern connection with Amaechi is very solid and stronger than whatever any other Aspirant can provide because without the northern connection it will be hard for whosoever to become president no matter how popular you might think you are.

Remember the North has a style of politics controlled by the trusted elites over time.

Rotimi Amaechi is the traitor that connived and sold GEJ ( his neighbor and brother) that brought in the failures named Buhari and Tinubu for a mere ministerial position.
We can never trust that he won't do such again.

GEJ was the betrayer, not the other way around. GEJ removed Amaechi as head of Governors Forum. GEJ got Amaechi suspended from PDP. GEJ has army blocking Government house. GEJ wanted to get Amaechi impeached (Chidi Lloyd saga). Amaechi ran to APC to save him from GEJ. Yet you people keep blaming Amaechi.

Don't go there. Amaechi is the best Governor I know in the history of Nigeria.

He sent 2,000 Rivers Indigenes overseas on Scholarship.

Amaechi built 300 schools from ground up with sports facilities, library and equipped computer halls. These schools offered free education, with free books.

Amaechi built over a hundred health centers that offered free healthcare for people over 80 years and children under 6 years. He employed doctors to work there.

He did Teachers Training program and employed over 10,000 teachers.

Amaechi did Timariv project, (Traffic control) that employed a lot, and paid undergraduates and graduates.

Amaechi developed the Songhai farm that was supplying chickens in large quantity at very cheap prices to local markets.

In Amaechi's time, Rivers State Ministry of Agric was supplying chicks, fingerlings of fishes, and feeds free to local farms.

Amaechi's time had Rivers State Ministry of Agric sending Tractors to Rural areas to help farm cultivation.

He did lots of road infrastructure projects but three key in the capital were NTA road, Ada George Road, Odili Road which are still quality today. Not to talk of Obiri Ikwerre roundabout.

Amaechi partnered and supported Glo to set up glo mast in rural areas to improve communication there.

He partnered with The Promise fast food to train graduates in catering management and supported them to own a chain of fast food supply franchise.

This is just a few.

I have no problem with everything you said about Amaechi but mentioning PO was irresponsible of you.
In the history of Governors in Nigeria and their performances, PO can't be mentioned amongst the top 20.
Where were you when Akpabio was the governor of Akwa Ibom State? Where were you when Ohakim was the governor of Imo state? Where were you when Fashola, Ambode and now Sanwo Olu were and now the Governors of Lagos State? Where were you when Donald Duke was governor of Cross River State? Where were you when Oshiomhole was governor of Edo State? Where were you when Lamido was governor of Jigawa state? And so many others?
Even Soludo 4years has surpassed PO 8 years as governor.

You just fell your hand by mentioning Akpabio. Building just flyover and roads is not development. I am from Akwa Ibom State. What did Akpabio do in the health sector? What did he do in the education sector?

Amaechi built high standard schools, and hospitals, offering free healthcare and education. Also offering massive employment. Development is not about building roads and flyovers, but directly improving the lives of people.

Peter Obi was awarded as the best governor when it comes to implementation of the Millenium development goals. That is due to his understanding and application of the international standard framework for critical development indices.

We are talking of long term developmental framework. You are talking Akpabio and Soludo.

Data Shows Peter Obi Outperformed Tinubu & Fashola As Governors

Data released by Global Data Lab has shown that Labour Party’s Peter Obi performed better as Anambra State Governor than APC’s Bola Ahmed Tinubu did as Lagos State Governor.

The data also compared Peter Obi against Raji Babatunde Fashola, Tinubu’s successor.

Peter Obi was Anambra State Governor between 2007 and 2014 while Tinubu ruled Lagos from 1999 till 2007.

According to the data, Peter Obi outperformed Bola Tinubu (and Fashola) in all 6 major growth indicators used to assess low-middle class countries.

These indicators include: GNI, life expectancy, human development index, health index, educational index and income index.

The charts showed Peter Obi clearly outperformed his Lagos State counterparts, even though he had far less revenue to work with.

How you see and define governance doesn't means it's the best definition.
Today, when you talk of western world, the first things that draws people to those countries are the infrastructures which drives tourism...e.g Dubai and Singapore.
All those infrastructures that Akpabio provided as governor in Akwa Ibom State was what brought the limelight that Akwa Ibom is still enjoying till today, including the Ibom Tropicana.
Last year, few of my friends traveled to Akwa Ibom on vacation because of these same infrastructures that Akpabio provided and that's how it's nowadays all over Nigeria, people are trooping into the state on vacations. Hopefully I, my wife and some of my friends and their wives will be doing same this year all because of the infrastructures that Akpabio brought to Akwa Ibom. People don't even talk much about Calabar again when thinking of vacation destination in Nigeria, Akwa Ibom has taken over.
Akwa Ibom was only known for house helps, eaten dog meat and killing children over witchcraft, including when Obong Victor Attah was governor but it was Akpabio uncommon transformation in Akwa Ibom that changed the narratives.
Every governor has won governor of the year as far Nigeria is concerned, just pay the organisers mostly when your election is drawing closer and you will be awarded. Oshiomhole as Governor of Edo State won countless governor of the year and also Sun man of the year award, Mimiko as Governor of Ondo State won also in health and maternal death reduction, etc. so PO wining governor of the year wasn't a yardstick, the award could easily have been bought.
Prior to 2023 general elections, not even Anambra citizens saw Obi as a Messiah, that's why there is no candidates he has supported in any election in Anambra State that ended up winning after he was done as governor. He supported Obaze and the man was roundly beating and came a distance 3rd if I'm not mistaken.

Learn and learn now.

Infrastructure of roads and bridges is limited development. It is a minute scale. There are key indices to measure good governance. As soon as you turn the indicators on, you know those who are camouflaging.

Making someone Governor is not development. Liking the road is not development.

Development is improving the lives of the people. Peter Obi and Amaechi flew high. It falls into job creation. Improving education. Long term effect.

Peter Obi plugged looting leakages.

Those you praise did not.

It is not my measurement but international standard.

PDP was bad but APC is worst.
