Babanah:please, supreme Court already said sole administrators has no basis in law and that Rivers' State money can only be spent by a properly elected governor and all finances approved by a duly constituted Rivers' State House of Assembly. What other pronouncement are you waiting for? |

ElevationD:A gift politicized by the Sole Administrator. He is there on temp assignment. Rather than be a mediator, he began being an oppressor. Anyway when God wants to fight for the righteous, na so He dey do am. See as Lawyers were raised free of charge for democracy |

tamonokare:Oga, stop shoooking mouth in what you do not have information about. Fubara implemented 85k minimum wage last November among the state civil servants. The local government delayed until this February when Fubara ordered the LGA chairmen to begin its implementation. Always take your time to follow national affairs, and very meticulously. Read the below links: https://www.arise.tv/rivers-state-civil-servants-applaud-governor-fubara-as-payment-of-n85000-minimum-wage-begins/ https://www.tv360nigeria.com/rivers-state-governor-fubara-implements-%E2%82%A685000-minimum-wage/ https://ait.live/rivers-becomes-first-state-to-implement-new-minimum-wage-pays-n85000-to-workers/ |

Sundaymessi:He is the Head of Government in Rivers State whether you like it or not.. he has been appointed by the President to preside over the affairs of Rivers State for a period of 6 months with the nod of National Assembly.. if the matter gets to court, the NBA will lose. |

hush15:Now, that’s a different thing entirely…the present actions of the sole administrator, when he is replacing directors and chairmen of MDAs in the state. We all disagree absolutely. However, we need to know how such an amount was defined as a gift, in a society where the citizens are suffering such horrible levels of poverty. |

Sundaymessi:At least we have established that there is a 300m somewhere, whether it is a gift or not. So are you suggesting that NBA witholds the money until the return of Fubara to office? |
| Re: Rivers NBA Chairmen criticise Sole Administrator, allege constitutional breaches by chidiokay: 5:03pm On Apr 17, 2025 |
Babanah:Even at constitution suspended, a sole administrator as no power to act alone or issue directives without FEC nd committees Go n listen to Tinubu declaration of emergency on Rivers again ... he gave clauses for the administrator exercise certain function if IBA just have less than 6month, his action dont make any sense |

DSS1335:That's the problem with you Nairaland Fubara supporters, you guys can't do or say anything without mentioning Wike. I understand your hatred for Wike, you hate him because he didn't support your lord and personal saviour Peter Obi and he didn't let IPOB and unknown gunmen take over Rivers some years ago. I'll say it again that you are an ibo man claiming Ikwerre . If truly you were an Ikwerre you would have known that it was the sole administrator that implemented the new minimum wage for the Rivers state local government workers. |

ElevationD:A gift is a gift, irrespective of the amount. If Lagos or other tell you their own amount used in sponsoring csr projects or event, you will know it's a common norm in government. For instance, do you know how much is spent on Tinubu’s symposium he has during his birthdays, sponsored by his State boys, una no go know na because he still dey reign, una no go know but na still gift dem go call am and that's still private o, not a public body like NBA or NMA or ICAN o... I no even wan dey justify anything. It's simple, he donated funds to an event that was suppose to take place in his State. Unfortunately with the aid of the presidency, democratic structures of the state was handed over to one person for their cunny interest and NBA didn't see it appropriate to go on with that event in that State, and someone is raking the piss for it!!! NBA didn't deny the money and one sole administrator wants to politicize that? |

hush15:You make it sound so simple. The lawyers also make mockery of themselves, if they cannot say it exactly the way it went. The call it a gift and now the state says return it. How then is it a gift? The state records say that it was for their programme and the state intended to earn some revenue from it. If the state says so, is it not to be termed as an investment, instead of a gift? So the state gifted them 300m to go and host their event in another state? Are you aware that senior lawyers are asking for the money to be returned? Wike was busy building houses for Judges and buying them huge vehicles. He was accused of bribing them. Should we view that 300m gift as bribe, if we go be your thoughts? |

flokii:I know more things about constitutional power thats why i am not sounding dumb as you A sole administration has no constitutional power cos it is a delegated position, with limited jurisdiction of state affairs to preside upon. Go n read the Tinubu declaration of SOE again he gave clauses IBA is nothing but mere Wike chuachua dog |

No mention of the 300million. Return the 300million that's all we ask. Your press release is null, void and worthless. There is relative peace in Rivers state since the declaration of the State of Emergency. I am shocked the NVA talked about tension in the state. |
| Re: Rivers NBA Chairmen criticise Sole Administrator, allege constitutional breaches by ElevationD: 5:24pm On Apr 17, 2025 |
tamonokare:Stop disgracing yourself here, young man. Fubara implemented 85k minimum wage last November to the state civil servants. They Jubilated and everyone saw them. The LGA Chairmen did not, because of the LGA issues. The same Fubara directed its LGA implementation at the end of February, but was overtaken by political events. Your sole administrator simply paid the salaries as agreed. I wonder why after forwarding links, you preferred to continue with this wrong position. I have above also told you the minimum wage implemented by Fubara. It was 70k by the FG. Fubara surpassed it. How you accuse others of talking about Wike, while you arrogantly and ignorantly bring Obi into the story, requires a research. If you call Obi the personal saviour of people, have you not shown that Wike is your own personal saviour? Meanwhile, you have never met or contacted with him. |

hush15:Then it would be their decision. It would be their choice. Seeing that they termed the Sole Administrator an impostor, not known to the constitution, they could proceed with their event, it so possible. |
| Re: Rivers NBA Chairmen criticise Sole Administrator, allege constitutional breaches by hush15: 5:33pm On Apr 17, 2025 |
ElevationD:No, you don't understand what's going neither do you understand the implications. Neway, make we leave the matter, they have informed the Sole Administrator that he is free to come to the courts. NBA is on the right as far as am concerned on the matter but let the law decide even though I have no confidence in the Judges. |

idahme:Gift is refundable if it's proven by investigation or forensics that the money is a proceed of "constructive possession" or "criminal conversion". I've recovered money that were termed as gift, entertainment or gesture. Quote me. |

flokii:Even Tinubu couldn't address Ibas as "Head of government", he called him a sole administrator-- a post unknown to the constitution! The sole administrator has no constitutional power to spend Rivers State money that is the supreme Court ruling. Rivers State money must be spent by Rivers government as fully appropriated by the Rivers State House of Assembly. Ibas is unknown under the law. |
