What they forgot is that the case will not be handled in the state level and they will have to settle out of court if Ibas really want to deal with them. Heads will roll in that Rivers NBA

I do not think any reasonable lawyer would want to go to court claiming illegality of the SOE as an argument point when the same court recognizes the SOE as constitutionally lawful. I think that's dumb. You will never win that case.
Secondly, look at the choice of words, sounds like someone who struggled to complete school at all levels.

Just because nobody quoted his original comment doesn't mean you shouldn't have enough sense to at least think it might have been edited based on the reactions from others. All these charge and bail lawyers, no wonder you can't gather enough money to fund a simple conference. What a shameful reply from a shameless association and those that are supporting them too are also shameless. You collected Rivers state money with the intention you will hold your conference in the state, latter you changed your mind and instead of returning the money collected you're giving lame excuse.

The money does not belong to Wike, Fúbara,Iba or PDP it's Rivers state money.They are saying iba government is an illegal government but he is paying salaries of the civil servants and other monies,why can't the NBA instructed the civil servants not to collect their salaries because Iba's government is an illegal government.

The money doesn't belong to Fubara, but the state. It should be returned and not subjected to this much argument. The leadership of the NBA is ridiculing the association.

Not all lawyers are in support of this, so don't generalise. This is a decision taken by the leadership. Which is why they are being asked to return the money for the image of the association.

If they don't know that it will be handled at the federal level then it shows the level of corruption that has eaten into the system that's affecting their thinking....

I don't think there will be any out of court settlement. It will be all the way out to ensure a repeat of such never comes up again in future.


Don't be surprised that you'll start hearing corruption issues of some of it's Exco members and those top leaders who are standing against the refund of the money.

I see you have nothing up there. What judgement are you expecting. SOE was a declaration by the President as defined in the Constitution. which gives the President the powers to appoint a Sole Administrator for the state. Please read it up. You think everything is judgement, judgement, judgement. Anyone doubting the legitimacy of the declaration can take it to the courts and then the end result will be the JUDGEMENT you are referring to. I think one or two political parties already have. So if and when the Sole Administrator takes them to the FHC in Abuja will the NBA coming to defend herself and tell the Court that the Sole Administrator is an illegitimate, illegal and an imposter representing the RSG and should be disregarded and the case thrown out for the SOLAD holds no place in the constitution of the FRN?
