The hypocrisy of the NBA is the fact that they're not really interested in fighting the constitutionality or otherwise of the SOE, rather they're more interested in their own stomach infrastructure. They know that if after collecting N300million from Fubara and then go ahead with the conference without putting on an appearance that looks like they are fighting for the man that gave them the money, when Fubara finally comes back, their food shop will close automatically. Knowing that Rivers State is the biggest sponsor of NBA conference since the time of Wike. NBA is playing a common sense game, how would they support a man that will be around for only six months as against a man that will be there four atleast four years, when they can always come get the cookie jar from Fubara anyday anytime. -Kiss the truth! |

That was the reason rivers state government gave #300 millions to NBA to host it in Port Harcourt, since NBA decided to hold it in another state why can't they refund the money back to rivers state government? |

NBA reserve the right to protest by taking her conference to somewhere else so let River state count her losses. For those that are saying that NBA should refund of the monetary gift by Rivers state government, I want to ask a question, did NBA approach Rivers state government for money for the hosting right of the conference? If no, they (NBA) are not obligated to refund the money. The mata be Just like boyfriend and girlfriend mata, no spend wetin go pain you if person break your heart. If you give your babe or bobo gifts and dem still cheat or marry another person, na laugh dem go dey laugh you if you tell dem to pay you wetin you spend for their head. |

This country is funny?? Abeg, Nigerias demand to know how NBA spend the money even if they feel they should not return it, what’s the motive behind the gift?? So any government can just dash any organisation money at the expense of the populace?? We need to be reconolized! |

It's actually very dishonourable and shameful for a prestigious body like the NBA. Saint Fubara, personally pulled down an arm of government all on his own, and then sacked every person not singing his tone... NBA was very very silent.. Devil Tinubu, now followed the position of the law as enshrined in the constitution, to impose a SOE and then gazetted it, and also got ratification from the senate.... The NBA now woke up to see illegality... And now backed a guy who personally pulled down an arm of government.. against a constitutionally backed Sole Administrator. You guys stink, 300m can get NBA to turn to praise singers... What a blow to the prestigious legal profession, 300m was the price all Nigerian lawyers were worth in year 2025 |

NBA benefitted from Fubara's lawlessness by accepting that unappropriated sum. Shame! Return it. |

Septigen:Who is talking about Tinubu here? Make una deh use your sense to comment now. NBA is being dragged for illegally receiving funds from the govt which is against their ethics and you're here spilling rubbish about Tinubu. Some of you are just hypocrites who doesn't have convictions. How's the NBA different from govt officials stealing public funds? Was there any appropriation for the N300m received from the River State govt? |
