I don't think the sultan said anything amiss. He was speaking symbolically.

Social media, too, has contributed a lot to the mayhem we are witnessing today.

Well, it's just a pity that all this is happening. I think, because of the way we throw insults around, our traditional rulers should just be giving advice and not talk too much like the oba of Benin and others. If this was so, VDM or whatever they call him would not have disrespected the sultan.
