I hope no obidient benefited from the scheme because they derided it before it started and called it audio program. Any obidient that went to collect it must be unfortunate. The same pattern of disbursement the former Minister of humanitarian affairs did with the COVID-19 funds . Up till now, she could not identity the poor families she gave over 729 billion naira. They have turned Nigeria into an ATM MACHINE. Tomorrow ask them to produce the 500,000 students they gave the money to, EFCC will give them an Administrative bail. 1 Like

I want to thank the president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu for this initiative. I can vouch with my 2 eyes that this is not an audio project as we normally have. It took a lot of begging of poor students around me before they agreed to apply for the loan. Two of them have benefited one in Unilag and the second in UI. It is very unfortunate that the youths have totally lost confidence in Nigeria. You can imagine begging potential beneficiary of a no interest loan before they could apply for it because they believe they can never get it. The report said they have given out about 50B to 500,000 students. This is far less than what one single political office holder will just clear from the Treasury and nothing will happen. I will like to beg government to give out more of this loan which is traceable rather than all those audio donations to faceless Nigerians by the humanitarian ministry. Government have an opportunity to redeem their filthy image through this loan. Let Nigerians have one single thing they could say they benefited from this country. 2 Likes |

The student loan is a good initiative, It has really helped a lot of students and have lifted some bouden from the back of some parents. I know some beneficiaries of it but the problem I've with it is, collecting the money back after the students graduates and starts working. It is called a loan so NELFFND should be able to collect our money from them. During Buhari's administration, there was an empowerment program they did in which they trained people and gave them a loan of 800k I think in 2021. The beneficiary of it that I knew, used her own to buy clothes and other stuffs and when it's time to start paying up, FG started the process of collecting the money back, she stopped using the bank account that the money was paid into and I can say that up till now she haven't paid the money abd she said the money was given to them by Buhari and I'm sure this is also the case with other beneficiaries of the program. De money no be grants, na loan de money be, we no wan hear sey to collect de money back dey hard una and sey una no fit collect am or sey some of de people don japa or die. 2 Likes |
