chisomkachy:What is this former magistrate judge business with even the State governor, how much more the Sole Administrator? There are channels of communication and the State Governor or Sole Administrator will never break those channels. He is just a magistrate judge amongst magistrate judges and there's a superior officer who is the Chief Magistrate Judge at that level. Apparently he is saying he can't work with the Chief Magistrate Judge and also the CJ of the Rivers State....!!! Why are we not seeing other colleagues of him resigning, if that is the case? There's more to his side of the story that's not been told. I will not be surprised that he is a strong and vocal advocate of Gov. Fubara and he has been warned to either attend to his duties as a magistrate court judge or resign voluntary.... |

Thundafireseun:Either way, the election was conducted and INEC certified and gave him a certificate of return. How he was rigged in is a topic for another day. We all know Rivers election was rigged both for Presidential and Governor but the same people that forced him there shouldn't be complaining. If he was rigged in , Tinubu too was rigged in. Even more so, we can't be using one crime to justify another. It's already bad that a sole administrator was declared. It's even worse for him that he is appointing and removing, destroying and set him up like he was elected to do so.... as money is released, if he touch one dime, he should be arrested. The same budget that SC declared void is the same one he is basing his spending on... illegality everywhere. In a sane clime, the singular act of Tinubu alone is an impeachable offense. Fubara and his camp have asked this man to form resignation to gain public sympathy even when we know he was sacked. Fubara has promised to reinstate him if he eventually returns to office. Who doesn't know this magistrate. The man doesn't come to court. He goes from one hotel to another in GRA with different of his girlfriends. At the end of the month he still gets salary. So many petitions of negligence against this magistrate and a lit of oersons languishing in orion for his sake. He doesn't come to court and anyway he comes, he hears a case, adjourn it to 2months or 3months time. Very wicked man |

How do judges 'take orders' from governors whether appointed or elected at any level. I thought the Judiciary was by the Constitution an independent arm of government. The wording 'take orders' is so debasing and must be left to the business of suya grilling or pizza baking, not to the business of governance where independence for the sake of democracy is sacrosanct. 1 Like |
