Gift isn't refundable. Most of you don't know how the law works...
You cannot give a gift you do not own.
The real owner from where it was stolen now says he wants it back.

please, supreme Court already said sole administrators has no basis in law and that Rivers' State money can only be spent by a properly elected governor and all finances approved by a duly constituted Rivers' State House of Assembly.
What other pronouncement are you waiting for?
Where did the SC say this. Joker.

Return the 300 million naira, ole.

This world is wicked. Fubara that refused to implement the minimum wage for local government workers gifted NBA a whooping 300 million naira. The sole administrator implemented the new minimum wage immediately he took over.

Rivers people are happy with the appointment of the sole administrator.
It will be returned when democratic elected governor is return back to office

Sanctimonious nonsense.

What was your share in the N300m? You have lost the right to criticism until you return that money. Stop deceiving yourselves. You are not different from what you are attacking. This is the unfortunate situation the leadership has put the association.

Before making a hasty conclusion about anyone on this faceless forum, don't be too lazy to do "background check" on such person by going through the person's post and comment on nairaland. I am a full blooded Ikwerre man and top ranking officer in the public service. Wike is someone I have had the privilege of knowing since his time as the council chairman of ObioAkpor. There is nothing I do not know about my kins man. Even some of his classified dealings that the press can not report, I have commented about numerous of them here
The only people supporting Wike today are those political urchins who are directly dependent on him for financial survival, these categories of subhuman can never see good in whatever Fubara is doing in Rivers state as far as they are no longer benefiting from the corrupt system
You can't say that. You asked someone not to make hasty conclusions but you are doing the same callous and irresponsible thing. Don't go about crashing through life with such a flawed mindset.

The contentious 300 m was not talked about in the statement. There has to be clarification on that. If the reasons forwarded caused them to relocate, then fairness demands that they return the money.
What are you saying? NBA should not even respond to an unconstitutional body, who is he to ask for #300m. Doing so is recognizing him. The sole administrator in Rivers state is not known to Nigerian law period! So he has no claim whatsoever like some NBA members have charged him, he should go to court and they will respond adequately

These NBA people are hardened criminals.

Never knew that the noble profession of law could ever be reduced to this level of criminality when they hold on to monies that are not theirs and then try to form Voltron in public.

SHAME ON AFAM OSIGWE & HIS FELLOW NBA CRIMINALS.
So when Wike gave the same NBA 500m, he was a saint? You were clapping for him.

First of all I am not a lawyer, but what most people don’t understand is the constitution has been effect been suspended as regards the state in question. That is why it is called State of Emergency. This “unusual” situation can only be ended through the following means:
1. If the President calls off the state of emergency.
2. When the six month period elapses and is not renewed by the National Assembly.
3. If the Supreme Court declares the declaration null and void.
Nigerians should stop been emotional about this issue. The constitution already provided sufficient checks and balances with regard to the declaration of state of emergency.
can you tell me more about suspension
..im waiting

If the NBA will return the 300 million or not is not the sole administrator duty that he was appointed for…the stupid Wike and his devilish groups /supporters are just politicizing that..who is him to question how an elected governor spends the money of the states,it is the state house of Assembly representing the people of the state has the right to ask and it’s the elected governor that is in the position to answer….NBA will be foolish to answer a military’s sole administrator the question or even agree to return the money to hijn….when will Nigerians stop been foolish for crying out loud??

Under the state of emergency declaration, the President has suspended the Executive and the Legislature as provided under the constitution. And appointed a Sole Administrator.
This is not new, even in the worlds oldest democracy this happened. The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom was granted emergency powers by the House of Commons during the pandemic. This gave the PM powers to make emergency laws as and when required without recourse to Parliament. And this power was in fact exercised by the then PM so it is not new.

there are critical situations that will result to state of emergency .. according to the constitution ...none of such was in rivers state before the declaration .some happenings in most states are worse than the situations found in rivers state if at all it exists . however the president have kept a deaf ear to all this. ..fine he appointed a sole administrator who also have limitations but he is now appointing local government sole admin, sacking and appointing,etc...what do you have to say in all this
