It's not Fubara's money

Do you know how many billion NBA and conferenees who had booked hotels, flight, rented shops for the Port Harcourt conference before Tinubu and Wike declared State of emergency. NBA is simply saying, as long as there is no democratic structure in Rivers State, we cannot hold our conference there because military administrator is alien to the constitution. Nigeria operates American styled constitution. America declares state of emergency often in case of floods, disaster or even riots, nothing like suspending any Governor or Assembly. State of emergency is just to enable the President exercise extra powers to contain the situation including deploying of troops to secure lives and properties, it does not empower him removing an elected person, that power can be abused as it is in Fubara's case.

This is what we have been trying to enlighten wailers but they have refused to learn, even the NBA who are supposed to be learned are acting like a road side charge and bail lawyers because of N300 million bribe they collected from Fubara.
The constitution empowered the President to exercise extraordinary measures in a state of emergency and the extraordinary measures can be interpreted to mean suspending the Governor and the Legislative house of the state as deemed fit by the President. However, only the Supreme Court can interprete what the extraordinary measures means. Those road side charge and bail lawyers should instead be enlightening the masses to await the SC verdict on the case rather than taking sides and making ignorant conclusion.

This is akin to collecting under false pretence. NBA will go again to collect from Enugu, leave Enugu to Akwaibom to collect. That is a fraudulent act. If they are protesting the state of emergency in rivers then they should wait till Fubara is reinstated and host in Rivers. 300M is a lot to be giving as gift rather it should be spent on skills acquisition for the citizens of the state

The Rep member, Mr Solomon Bob seems completely disconnected from the facts. It was simply a gift, not a hosting right.

It's quite funny how convenient it is that the Rep member is urging the sole administrator to use "every constitutional means" to retrieve a gift...the same sole administrator who isn’t even recognized by the Nigerian Constitution
