Plateau Regeneration Group Flays Very Dark Man over false allegations on Gov Mutfwang

A group under the aegis of Plateau Regeneration Group has criticized Controversial social media personality, Martins Otse, aka VDM, over his recent allegations against Governor Caleb Mutfwang implying that the state Government prioritize cows over the lives of her citizens .

In a statement signed by Comrade Promise Yatu the newly elected Chairman of the group said it is very important to put the record straight on the clownery displayed via a podcast by one so-called social media vigilante, called very Dark Man .

The statement reads that " First, we want to appreciate all those who genuinely share in the burden and pains of the Plateau people. "

" We wish to commend all those who took the time to visit, send humanitarian aid, and all other acts of empathy, demonstrated at this crucial moment. "

We wish to appreciate the federal government also for making a u-turn on the erroneous narrative of a farmer herder clash and accepting the reality as mere genocide and nefarious land annexation by a terrorist jihadist sect.

However, we wish to state in unambiguous terms that the podcast shared by one very Dahkman, implying that the state Government prioritize cows over the lives of her citizens is not just spurious, misleading or mischievous, it is the height of insensitivity, irresponsibility and absurdity for one to leverage upon to seek cheap attention. .

The statement also reads that " This so-called social media vigilante must understand that the people of plateau can not be easily hoodwinked by illogical and separatist narratives, which has the potency of creating more divide rather than uniting them.

We understand that he is a crisis merchant, and one who would want to use every given opportunity for personal aggrandizement, hence, we wish to state categorically that the only 'DISGRACE' we're seeing is his insolent and senseless acts, since he is apparently lazy to investigate before reacting to a social media hoax.

For the records, and with all due respect to the mourning families and communities, the state Governor has not just demonstrated empathy by personally visiting and condoning with affected areas, but ensured that local securities were immediately empowered with the requisite resources to stay on guard against further invasions and escalations.

While the Governor in his recent Statewide broadcast and after deep consultations with critical stakeholders in the state, he announced a committee that would not just investigate but find solutions to the incessant killings of innocent Plateau people, the Governor has released resources, with clear instructions to the operation rainbow to collaborate with genuine vigilantes and other local community security outfits to ensure no community is left vulnerable for the assailants to attack, and so much more that is at the public domain.

The Governor has demonstrated leadership, courage and resilience, and the people of plateau are proud of him, and would stand by him even as he leads at the front in this war against the Fulani militia, and it's either you're for us or against us.

The people of plateau remain peaceful and law abiding, and would welcome what ever form of help that would add to our advantage at the battle field but we must also state clearly that, the story of the Plateau people would be told by the Plateau people and not some desperate busybodies trying to cash out from our misfortune.

We therefore call on the general public to disregard the sputum expectorated by the so-called very Darkman and whoever his sponsors are.

In this time of great despair, we call on the people of plateau to remain united, focused, and unflickering in faith, we must stand together and fight this war in one acord as an injury to one is an injury to all

We wish to salute the gallantry of our security men and women and the patriotism of the press who are genuinely doing everything possible to restore the dignity of the downtrodden Nigerians

The group also alleged that Let the world continue to know this, Plateau is under siege by fulani militia groups.

May God empower our governor with the grace and capacity to remain sagacious and focused, regardless of all distractions by detractors and traducers at this trying moment, the statement further reads.
