Im seeing people asking why the government should investigate the death of cows , and look away from the death of the people. LOL. Keep in mind that both sides, the fulanis and the farmers are like most Nigerians, they see themselves as victims of the state. Many of you don't know that for decades there have been clashes between fulanis and farmers. Governments in the past did nothing. Now a governor is doing something, and you guys want him to leave the dead cows alone? Yes, the cows should not have been eating farmer's garden egg. But if the fulanis see that the government is doing nothing...they will take up arms and do more violence. Keep in mind that for fulanis, the plateau government has been insensitive to their concerns for decades, especially under civillian rule. ANyway I don talk my own. I never said that fulanis or farmers were right, and I will always say that roaming around with cows is so ancient, and it is time to end that. I am not here to defend any fulanis, and I won't be surprised if they poisioned the cows and blamed farmers. But I won't also be surprised if the farmers did do the poisioning...and it is very likely the cows died from an epidemic of some disease, and as such it was not poisioning.....all the more reason for plateau to investigate and find out the cause of death. And remember Muftwang called on farmers to arm themselves. DO you know how inflammatory that sounds to some fula. Yet you people accuse him of favoring fula. Anyway, Nigerians should stop victim mindset, maybe we go see improvement Fulani violence is still evil, and the perps must be punished. If you call me supporter of killers of farmer,. This thing they call 'pesticides' even mammals will die from it, not only insect pests. I don't know the full story but if the cows ate garden eggs from a garden egg farm, they are technically pests, so a typical pesticide will do its job as such chemicals are naturally harmful to mammals. |
