If other Nigerians do to Tinubu half of what he and his cronies did to GEJ, he wouldn't be able to stand the heat. I remember GEJ saying that he was the world's most insulted president. Yorubas and Hausas dealt with him. |

Those who are disrespecting the president, is it only the president they have been disrespecting? When we said some of the so called opposition are unmannered and uncultured, some people go think say na insult but na reality You can criticize not just the government but anyone constructively, that's when your message can get attention Some of their excuse was because some people called GEJ's name, if so, why should you also repeat same thing when you know it's not right The blind opposition |

Na arse licking go kill you last last, you should be ashamed of yourself. I have never seen a daft hypocrite like you. With GEJ even without subsidy fuel wasnt up to #100, yet you, your irks, and your lord and saviour all protested and called GEJ unprintable names. Now you are performing worst than even the worst part of his government, karma has caught with you, now you are turning to an advicer and peacemaker, such a nonetity like you. |

Freedom of speech. It’s fine. Nobody cares. Cho Cho Cho is what some people do for a living. The problem is that Agbadorians want to censor people’s free speech, and Obidients have been reminding them they did same freely to GEJ without fear of consequences. Freedom of speech should remain free, period! |

helinues:You just confirmed how foolish, myopic, and idiotic you are. Go through my post's history and show me where I have supported Obi or any presidential candidate. I speak the truth the way it is irrespective of my political affiliation. I can never be a lowlife arse licker like you who exchanged his brain for a 30k stipend. People like you are the problem of this country, you deserve a miserable death. |

hustler2828:You speak the truth by insulting others unnecessarily? Who do you think will take your message seriously when it's laced with tantrums? Some of you are not mature enough to engage others in public space |

Don't allow them to derail the thread. Tinubu might be doing some things well (I don't know, I'm just saying), but generally the sentiment is that he is doing badly. His actions in recent times have lowered my expectations of him even further. While I wouldn't call him a fool even if he were in actual fact, a fool, people currently being exterminated by terrorists and hunger are free to call him that. You can't beat a child and at the same time tell him not to cry. |

Vinnie2000: helinues:A word of advice to both of you. 1. Stop taking politics serious. 2. Nigerian leaders have been abused from time inmemmorial. IBB was called evil genius. (and even Maradona was not a complimentary nickname either, especially if you understand the Argentine imagery around the real thing...as a cunning trickster). Abacha was called the Khalifa (in other words, a dick dictator) and of course was also called a Chadian, and was referred to as the dark glassed one, with sinister motives attributed to wearing his dark glasses. Buhari was mocked by the media from 1984-5, Shagari was regarded as an ineffective ruler who let all his corrupt colleagues walk over him, while he did nothing, and Gowon was regarded in the same way. Ironsi was hated for not punishing coupists on time, and the first republic leaders abused each other well well. (Am sure both awoists and akintola supporters were nice to each other...yeash they were... )And Tafawa Balewa was planning to along with Sardauna , dip the Quran in the atlantic, and Akikiwe wanted to be king of the Yorubas, and Awo was a bigot. LOL. 3. SO, any leader who takes power, is going to get the abuse. That is why GEJ was called otu..oke drinkard, with all the associated rumors, Buhari was called baba go slow, and was refered to as a cow, and also assumed to be dying and was assumed to be carrying out the plans of Uthman dan fodio in secret, Tinubu is always t-pain, emilokan, bullion van man, etc, (and makes IBB look like an innocent schoolgirl, and I don't mean that in a complimentary way), Obasanjo was mocked all through out his terms, Yaradua was mocked even when doing good things like having ministries return unused money (and remember how they mocked the cabal for bringing back a near dead man to come and rule us),and so forth. It comes with the territory. So, don't let bitterness kill you because your hero is being mocked. Being president, even being a dictator, means that you will always be mocked. During the days of the soviet union, the jokes were even worse. Stalin was the subject of a joke that implied he was the teacher of armed robbers and violent criminals (if you know his personal story, the joke becomes funnier) Khruschev was always called an idiot., Brezhnev was mocked for his love of medals (he had a lot of them when he died), and for referring to himself as Illich (just like Lenin), Andropov and Cheremeko were both mocked, and as for Gorbachev....to this day the guy is more popular abroad than he is in the former USSR. And cracking jokes like 'Khruschev is an idiot' in public when he was in power, could get you reported to the millitsya, and to the Tscheka and could earn you a term in a labour camp. Thankfully, the fact that we can mock our leaders in such an open way shows that we have come a long way. If I mocked a traditional leader 400 years ago, I could have likely been sold into slavery. And anyway, your beloved leaders are too busy doing things together, while both of you fight... Mockery is part of the leadership game. It comes with the territory. And stop worshipping your respective heroes. Am sure even GEJ and emilokan won't like it that you perceive them as gods.
