Anambra is undertaking a strategic initiative to establish a mega smart city state under the leadership of the current governor of Anambra state, Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo , integrating developments in the great Onitsha metropolis, Awka, Ekwulobia, Nnewi, and Ihiala next in line, and more infrastructure is required in our great city Onitsha to make Onitsha metropolis a 21st-century livable city. Anambra state has sustained its position as a commercial hub and leading indigenous industrialized state, with the current push by Governor Soludo to establish Anambra mixed-use industrial city, which solidifies the state's destination for well planned industrialization.
The proposed Onitsha 2.0 and Awka 2.0 initiatives will catapult Anambra state into an enviable position, complemented by the ongoing dualization of Trunk A roads, which will connect all the cities in the state, also rural areas with a robust road network. Additionally, the new Solution Fun City and Park, the Solution Innovation District, and the forthcoming ICC five-star international hotel will establish Anambra as a premier destination for leisure and entertainment. Furthermore, the proposed rail project will accelerate our transformation into a smart mega city and enhance to modern transportation system in the state, our journey just started, by God's grace we will get there, let not lose focus because of our selfish interests especially during this gubernatorial period now that we have a leader who is passionate and well determined to develop our great state,

If you are not in Anambra you won't understand. How is Professor Chukwuma Soludo doing this without borrowing. Even paying the debit of his predecessor. No Government has in the history of Anambra undertaken the magnitude of works he has done in his first tenure. This is another Sam Mbakwe and Micheal Okpara.

Nigeria still has a long way to go!

Government should directly get involved in housing or partner with the private sector so we can have a decent city. We need massive storey buildings to redefine the cities' skylines.

The idea of every tom, dick and harry building his small house all over the place makes no sense!

It will take a thousand years to rebuild Okpoko.It is the largest expanse of land in Ogbaru.
Okpoko is the largest slum in Nigeria after Makoko.

The difference is, unlike Lagos where FG was responsible for its huge infrastructural developments, Anambrarians will have to do it themselves or with the collective efforts of other SEasterners.
