You lack political IQ. I thought the North endorsed MM ticket and the hold the factor that decides the election? 6 million votes was a fall off of Buhari's disdain for youths and dissatisfaction from the youthful populace from the South especially from the handling of the EndSars saga. Obi's influence have presently spread into the North central with him creating an inroad with his visitations. 2027 politics will shock you thoroughly. The only thing Tinubu is counting on presently is rigging. As for performance, he obviously knows his dodgy performance will get him no where. Presently the North is silent about who they will root for in 2027 and have opened up on Tinubu's badly skewed appointments. This will be a factor in the coming elections if Tinubu does nothing about it. Just keep praying that the opposition remains in their present confusion till 2027, if they ever sort out their differences and pull their weight behind Obi's ticket, Tinubu will have a hard time rigging 2027 polls.

The problem was atiku. Everyone knew that it was the turn of the South to take over. I was happy when the five main Igbo pdp elders came together and said that an Igbo man must be pdp candidate. I was happy that d at

But as you know , pdp bigwigs backed atiku

That caused two problems

1. It drove the Igbo vote out of Pdp to lp. Along with obi.

2. It started the chain of events that led to wike supporting Tinubu. Because Wike believed that pdp must field a southern candidate and when atiku stabbed him in the back , that was the end.


Also, obi had no structure in the entire North. And southwest. Even south south where he was supposed to win, pdp swept up far too many votes for that to happen. Obi did well but he took away a lot of pdp votes and probably ended pdp chances of capturing Lagos in the goverboriship.

I mean there were 2 elections in the SW before the main the main. Lp lost both of them badly. They even lost to parties like SDP self. Of course apc and pdp both won


More people.voted against apc than for apc. The division in pdp led to them losing along with lp.


As for rigging, in 2019 one corper told a story..his place of primary assignment was a village in ondo. In the run up to the election all the villagers he knew bashed apc. Come election day, all the same villagers voted for APC.

No thugs, no party.agent handing out money, no ballot box snatching. No threats even , no alert.

I voted for NCP in 2003 because pdp was useless then and app was not it. Before the election me and my friends used to bash pdp. After the election, when I told two of my friends who I voted for, they both laughed at me, and one of them even said I was lucky not to be beaten up.

Rigging happens but most Nigerians vote for either apc or pdp.

That is why as I told buhari supporters in 2011 and they were abusing me online when I did, only a united opposition beats the ruling Party. Nothing more nothing less.
