The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has disclosed that he wanted the removal of Siminalayi Fubara as Governor of Rivers State.

This was as he backed President Bola Tinubu’s declaration of a state of emergency in the oil-rich state.

OSUN DEFENDER reports that Fubara, his deputy, Ngozi Odu and members of the House of Assembly were suspended by Tinubu following months of political crisis in Rivers State.

But Wike while speaking on Friday in Abuja during a media parley with select journalists, said the president’s move saved Rivers from implosion, arguing that the decision to appoint a sole administrator following Fubara’s suspension was a step in the right direction.

He still wants and is more likely to succeed.

Wicked Wike like a typical Ikwere man can never forgive Fubara who attempted to break free from his grip and enslavement.

Slave masters don’t forgive runaway slaves because they’re most dangerous kind of slaves.

Fabura knew from the beginning that he was only holding brief for Wike the real governor.

Wike surrounded him with his other slaves - RSHA members, commissioners, etc.

Wike’s grand plan is to return another Ikwere man to government house Rivers State in the person of his slave - the Speaker of the House.

Wike does not also want a Governor that will outshine him in Rivers State - Project wise so as not to undermine his influence, popularity and political aspirations.

Rivers masses can go to hell as much as Wike has his way.

There's a process involve in removing a governor, it's not entirely the job of the state house alone. But the presidency claimed Wike has no hand in what's happening in Rivers state

I don't really see a problem here.... You bought a cup and you placed it untop of a shelf, d cup suddenly developed legs and started disturbing d house, instead of serving you water, it was serving you shege, you have every right to remove d cup from your house...

If u want independence as a politician, sponsor your own election and campaign to avoid see finish

All this talk and excuses and those supporting this actions by the president and Wike is pure stupidity. When they are being reinstated will the suspension stop those unlawful house members to attempt to impeach the governor.
At the end it will still be same old stories.
The only way for peace is to secretly strike deal with Fubara first by intimidation, second by threat. Since the other governors are becoming Tinubu supporters perhaps it won't be hard for him to align with them.

This one no dey tire? Everyday Fubara. Oga focus on your job or shut it.
