Only God knows how many minors or even adults have been framed and suffering for nothing.

Moreover, there are many boys from broken homes who get entangled with criminals they regard as egbons. Over time these young boys are groomed and manipulated to commit crimes. Unfortunately, Nigeria police doesn't seem to separate these minors/first offenders because there is no juvenile system to subject them to. In this way, more criminals are created after their prison experience.

The truth is that time has come for CJN and NASS to consider setting up JUVENILE JUSTICE SYSTEM in Nigeria.
