The more you look at people like Peter Obi the more you understand why people who can't match his integrity always try to attack his personality. It is because he has something they can never have in this life, and that is integrity. All the money in the world cannot buy your integrity back once you've lost it. They may have so much money, but Peter Obi's integrity and organic influence will always make them feel insecure and powerless because he has things that their money cannot buy them in this life.

I remembered vividly then also that igbos were trooping to Lagos. We had so many igbo students in Lagos public schools. Especially in millennium schools that were built by Tinubu then. Egbeda, Ojodu, Ikorodu, Badagry and some other areas.

This is misinformation. Schools were never on strike when Obi was governor. Anambra had the best education sector in Nigeria when he was governor and his impact on education is still being felt. Anambra was top of the nation in health and education indices. Check your facts

What about medical doctors going on strike for almost a year?
And I didn't say schools went on strike in my previous post. But I could remember vividly then that families were relocating aggressively from the east then and settling in Lagos and enrolling their wards in schools in Lagos state. Though, that's nothing because that's urban migration or what do they call it; but I felt if he and other governors were doing enough back then, the migration shouldn't be massive back then.

Nope, your Whatsapp group misinformed you. The doctors were angry that Peter Obi was supporting private establishments as well as public health facilities to ensure the state is self sufficient healthwise but the doctors wanted Peter Obi to use that support to implement CONMESS wages for them, which would destabilize state finances. The myopic public practice doctors went on strike in protest of Peter Obi's reforms.

It resulted in private hospitals and medical centres rising up to the health needs of the masses. Thankfully, they already had a solid base in the state before the fiasco, giving Peter Obi enough time to consolidate the reforms, and set up the public health sector for prosperity. The rising up of private practices, combined with the reformed public healthcare, both contributed to his eventual winning of the Bill Gates and Melinda Foundation award, based on the performance of the state in eradicating polio. So much for Anambra running to Ondo eh? 😁😁

In addition, the N120 million cash gift from the foundation was matched with another N180 million from the government and both were put into the building of ten more health centres in the state.

That's the beauty of evidence based counter.
