Jesus as the head of the church did not leave most of the traditions the Roman catholic church glorifies. Most of the ceremonies were additions of men. One statement Jesus said was my Kingdom is not of this world, the Romanian state was the kingdom Christ encountered in His earthly interactions and HE did not endorse or partner with them throughout the course of his three year ministry. Roman catholicism only came a while after his ascension. The religion of Rome was not endorsed by Christ ever in his teachings.

Burying the dead is certainly part of Christianity. when you have a loved one who dies who will realise that there is a need to give people time to morn and grieve, that is all the "ceremony" there is nothing strange and occultic about that.

The person standing still is a swiss guard, the official security apparatus of the vatican city. Just as a soldier would stand still before his head of state. Again, that is neither strange nor occultic

My dad passed away this way, but I'm glad nobody was thinking of praying foolishly to a god or asking him to ask for a god's forgiveness before he passed on. It's the most childish thing to do.
