Good day, fellas. Your president budgetted 10 billion Naira for Solar energy that would power his Villa. EKDEC/NEPA are using generator in their offices and ordinary Nigerians are expecting stable power. We have a very long way to go grin

It started this year grin I find it hard to believe you but that doesn't mean that some people don't have back up like the use of generator and solar. I'm sure that they won't maintain that stability.

There should be a $1 trillion Pan-African effort led by the African Development Bank to achieve 24-hour electricity throughout Africa.

We will need our partners like USA, Europe, Japan, China, Canada, Saudi Arabia, World Bank and IMF to provide most of the money.

The reason why the government is going solar is because they are on band A and that means government power bills have shot up , on top the debt they owe

Nigeria does not have power because for decades most of the consumer base is not paying market price for power or even paying at all, meaning the sector cannot make the kind of profits that would be needed to fix things

Nigeria does not have power because for decades most of the consumer base is not paying market price for power or even paying at all, meaning the sector cannot make the kind of profits that would be needed to fix things - backbencher subsidywise
