I’m very sure the interaction between them didn’t start with the video. Do you think it started with the video? Don’t believe everything you see on the internet. We don’t know what transpired between them before the oyinbo pulled out his phone to record the incident as evidence to protect himself if anything happened.

The society has gone beyond “don’t video me without my consent “. If anything happened, that video would be requested as evidence in court. This is 2025. The only thing that can give you right against not being recorded is to not have any form of interaction with the opposite party. Once you do, he has right to record as evidence. Or you can just walk away to not be recorded .

Maybe Africa would not be in the mess it is today if both young and old threat each other with respect. What has respect given us in Africa? Chaos, hate, fight, destruction, family feud, societal destruction .
