You truly believe in Nigeria will work or is working sacarsm but the truth is appointments in this country is not based on who will deliver is about interest.
Tinubu needs wike to deliver FCT in 2027. If he moves him to power, his impact will not be felt in the election except for the money he will donate from the sector to the party. If u know u know.

He will deliver, so far he can own one or 2 key infrastructure in the value chain.

That is true. We need someone ruthless in that department just maybe we would eventually see some tractions ..🤔

The power cannot work under the current configuration it needs to be unbundled and divided into the 6 geographical zones. So that if there is a down time in one it would not affect others.

Remember Water Corporation? When they became inefficient, Nigerians moved on to fixing it themselves by working on borehole water.

Today, Nigerians are trying to replicate the same with the power situation (even though solar is on the high side now). This administration is saying that the importation of solar energy installation kits is banned in Nigeria.

Yet they want to spend N10 billion on the same thing banned for the populace. They deserve to have uninterrupted power supply while we wait for them to "improve" the power problems.


I still don't know why lawyers are being appointed as the Minister of Power. It's like appointing a Biologist as the Minister of Finance

Anybody that goes there will fail. But there is one gentleman from Kogi state prince Ado something that guy knows about power. He ran for presidency in one of the smaller parties. I think that guy would sort out our power. That is he day job.

Prince Malik ado ibrahim ran for YPP that man knows his onions when it comes to power. He powered America University Yola one of his projects.

The problem of power is not by gragra. It's a function of lack of innovative strategy and investment in the industry.

Tinubu cannot tell states to start generating power and go to sleep. There must a strong legislation that compels them to devote a significant fraction of their budget to power generation, transmission and distribution.

The federal ministry of power must work with state commissioners of power to see to it that states are steadily making efforts to take charge of their own power dynamics.

I always say that running a country is no rocket science. We just have the worst of us running this country. Nigeria doesn't have a long way to go; Nigeria hasn't even started at all.

I agree with you. The FG and the national assembly are illiterates and do not know how to use the power of the legislation to drive growth. Road projects too are easily followed up by politicians because of the monetary kickbacks and commissions they get from contractors. Making laws that drive economic growth may not bring such kickbacks hence their lacklustre attitude

Wike is already doing a Marvellous job in the FCT and should continue but it would be good for POBI Abi him dey fear.
