Bashir Ahmad, a former presidential aide, has
accused Nigerian Christians of launching a
propaganda campaign against Muslims.


Ahmad, who was the Digital Media Aide to
former President Muhammadu Buhari, made the
accusation on X while reacting to a post made
by Global Christian Relief, an NGO, "meeting the
needs of persecuted Christians around the world"


Global Christians Relief had shared a photo of
bodies set for burial and tagged it: "The Christian community is being massacred in Nigeria. This is a story that desperately needs more attention."


Reacting, Ahmad claimed the photo shared
actually depicts massacred muslim victims.
Bashir Ahmad wrote: "This propaganda against
Muslims has reached an alarming and disturbing level. They now shamelessly use images of massacred Muslim victims to falsely portray them as Christians killed by Muslims. What kind of injustice is that? How low must one go to twist the truth and exploit the pain of innocent victims to push such a dangerous and divisive narrative?


"This deliberate attack on truth must be called
out and condemned by all people of
conscience."
