... all in a bid to reduce resistance to pilgrimage subsidy. I hope it works. I also hope all the out of school children they love to blackmail woke G7 nations with are in school before subsidizing spiritual stoning exercise.

Thanks to Buhari & Team. They held ASUU by the blokos. I don't think they have been fully settled from the last strike. It was so bad that they were begging to be paid half of their salaries.
I agree kudos should go to Buhari for this. Withholding their salaries for 8 months had never being done before and we can see ASUU will think twice before taking a long vacation in the name of strike. Doesn’t mean they shouldn’t push for their entitlements, but do so with consideration for the students whose lives get wasted unnecessarily due to strikes.

No single ASUU strike since 29th May, 2023. That’s already a record.
Even a recorder

It took them more than 2 years to release money approved by Buhari and captured under 2023 budget. Imagine how low the varsities decayed further in those 2 years due to this blazing disdain for university education

50 billion naira for a whole lot of ASUU and other staff in all our tertiary institutions isn't impressive.
No law stops you from adding your contribution.if you think #50b is too small for ASUU nationwide.

If Tinubu was President when Nigeria was earning very high foreign exchange and when insecurity was at the lowest ebb, trust me, the acceleration of Nigeria's Economic growth would have been unprecedented.

-Kiss the truth!
I so much love your defence mechanism and believe where Tinubu is but you fail to understand that some people here are above sentiment...

"If he met the economy when Nigeria was earning high" yet he was the front runner of the first Failure President that crippled the economy....

And in his first speech, he stabbed the economy to death, raised the purchasing power to suffer the masses while your kind has no other option but to run to his aides for a peanut stipend.....

I will only agree with you if he changes the failure he instituted anyway....

Go to the market, check the prices of things before he became President and now.....

What effect have you seen in the economy after Subsidy removal?

Even borrowing is still in the Increase, we understand you must work before you feed your family but try to get a decent job than this cursed job nah

Kiss the lies in your truth....

Releasing their arrears after the value has been eroded. Before our eyes, lecturers and professors are becoming paupers. A free advice to ASUU, when next you're fighting fight for the welfare of your members and not the university infrastructure.

I read comments like wow this is good blah blah blah.

Is it not his job to settle assu? And also ensure tenacity on federal and state universities - and on what account should the money be spent which I expected to read but no highlights of.

Is it the labor union leaders or assu or the vice chancellor of the universities that will be accountable for the 50 meter? The more you look the less you see is tagged to the incumbent admin.
