Many of you have zero idea how weather information is routed all around the world!

Countries, who are members of WMO, make available their weather data through platforms like GTS.

The fact that one tech boy is able to access weather API freely and create a weather app for you to use, doesn’t mean there aren’t people on the ground working tirelessly every day to collect and process the data that is contained in that API.

Mumu, NiMet Nigeria Meteorological Agency is on strike due to poor working conditions. A local airline that depends on weather forecasts to fly makes a decision not to fly because of this. Just look at the senseless response you gave.

NIGERIA will experience positive turn around the day it begins to respect and recognise IGBOs as part of its three major Tribes.

Only an IGBO man will comfortably build a house outside his region. They are comfortably being more Nigerian than anyother tribe, yet they are kept behind out of hatred. Nigeria is just under self inflicted Injury by being Unjust.

I love my people Nigerians. How many airplanes are serviceable in the Air Peace fleet? Does the airline have up to 30% on time departures and arrivals (efficiency)? The CEO just took an easy way out of the problems that he is having. With the cancellations, he'll now tell the employees that there is no salary.

They should call off this strike before my flight tomorrow afternoon abeg ooo. Don't want to be stuck here for the weekend

Yeah. But let's be fair, This government has supported and backed him in every step, even fought the British government on behalf of Airpeace. For all of the incompetence of this present government, and they are numerous to count, they have at least been at least performing very good in the aviation sector.

NIMET is in charge of studying the weather and providing information on whether the weather is good for flights or not. Without that, each flight is exposed to high risk of crash especially this raining season

I am sure other airline operators too don't know how to run an airline operations not to have join the strike. Think deep and ask why didn't he suspend his international flight operations but only local flights.
