Pastor Adeboye, Kumuyi, Oyedepo and other general overseers use bodyguards. They also use police escorts when travelling by road. Many of them use bullet proof cars . Is this right? Is it lack of faith? Is it wisdom? Is God not enough to protect them?

My thoughts
1) Nigeria (just like Israel in the times of Christ and the Apostles) is a difficult terrain riddled with kidnapping especially of rich and famous people. This makes men of God who are perceived to be very rich ideal targets.Luke 10:30-37

2) Jesus had 12 male disciples with at least one of them armed with a sword. He even encouraged all of them to buy swords. Luke 22:36/37 - 36 Jesus said to them, “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a SWORD, sell your cloak and buy one. 38 The disciples said, “See, Lord, here are two SWORDS.That’s enough!” He replied

3) Jesus had many people following him including women and they all needed protection from roadside/wilderness robbers and slave traders. He therefore needed his disciples to be armed to protect His team. Luke8:1-3

4) There are many times the message of Christ hit the Jews so hard that they wanted to stone him believing He was Blasphemous. He escaped most times likely with the support of his disciples who shielded Him. John 10:31-39

5) The disciples also helped to protect Jesus from the crowd who wanted to touch Him by all means. They could end up injuring Him and tearing His garments.Matt9:20-22

Having faith is good, but don't tempt God with your faith.

You knows fire burn,and you deliberately put your hands inside it ,that's not faith but foolishness.

They are SCAMMERS who preach "Divine Protection" to sheeples and parade around in BULLET-PROOF vehicles.

These people TOUT their tight relationships with GOD every chance they get. One even claims to DRINK TEA with God. Meanwhile, they tell their congregations that their own relationships with God needs work but even so God loves them and will protect them.

Yet they, who want you to believe that they have a better relationship with God, need EXTRA protection different from the one God can provide.

SCAMMERS!

It's a lot like meeting a short-sighted Doctor with THICCCCK glasses telling you about the wonders of LASIK.

If this is true, why are they telling their congregation to pray to God for safe journey while they move around with bodyguards and armoured vehicles.

Abi they don't trust the product they are selling?

Jesus said:

These people worships Mammon so they can't live like worshipers of the true God! Matthew 6:24
