Russia didn't respect any rule of engagement because if they are, they wouldn't be bombing residential areas killing innocent Ukrainian children and unarmed citizens as they are presently doing.

Russia have deployed all sorts of weapons including long range missiles, while Ukraine was not permitted to use it until the twilight of Biden's regime. The only weapon Russia has not deployed is nuclear bomb.

Before this war started, ignoramuses said the war would end in less than a month and Putin was all that, powerful and merciless.

A few years down the line, Ukraine is still standing, fighting for its homeland, fighting against impunity and the madness of Putin.

There is no way Ukraine can win Russia in war even if US keeps giving them arms.
Their only chance is if USA allows them to start bombing Moscow with their own sophisticated weapons, which Russia would see as US aggression.
The war would escalate rapidly, and then enter a danger zone, which USA is seriously avoiding.

I mixed it up with a different offensive. The Kyiv push was bogged down because the whole was a logistics nightmare and the Ukrainians made it harder. Just imagine, just one border over and they couldn't get their ducks in a row.
