investing 1.8m or 1.9m for a Hithuim 48v pack to a Chinese in far away China and waiting for 3months,doesn't make any sense. what if there is serious shipping delays or something happens kiss
getting Valto's Eve 48v pack for 2.2m within 24hrs of payment is far far better.
see as you just write off that 200k like say na beans....in a country wey NBS say 98 percent of bank accounts in nigeria no get up to 500k for account...that 200k go buy some installation accessories while you wait for delivery...not everyone is rich like that

Hi did you eventually upgrade?
Ayomipoe:
Do you have a contact for the SRNE 1.5kva?

I have an SMS 1KVA 12V. My biggest problem currently is that I want to buy a bigger battery. However, SMS's maximum charging current is 40a. Most 280Ah batteries I have seen have about 50a as the recommended charging current.

I am not yet ready to purchase a 24v system (Inverter and battery )

Hello everyone, my neighborhood recently got downgraded from Band A to Band B and the power situation is bad. I would like to setup an urgent backup.
My energy needs are minimal;

I just want to be able to keep the internet (fiber) running, charge my phones & laptops, use fan & use lightbulbs. Maybe use the fridge (and tv) with it occasionally. In fact, I don’t expect my instantaneous power draw to ever exceed 300w as it’s essentially just a backup and I can save my major power demands for the grid.

What are the most cost effective recommendations as I did not plan for this and I’m on a budget. I may not use panels for now as charging the batteries & regular grid usage on Band B are still around 70% less than band A so I don’t mind for now. The focus is power as petrol is simply unaffordable at the moment

The battery I wanted to get, Deriy 12v 280ah 447k is no longer in stock till July.

The second choice, Haisic 4000wh 12v, is about 450-470k. The problem is that there are limited reviews and information about the battery.

The sizes i use most is 555 or 580..depending on the sizes they have on ground.. And none of my customer done ever call me till today... And for 585w i get abt 43 or so v on it.. So x 2 will surly be above said 80v for 12v system... Like I said they never for once called me... So i believe its working perfectly fine...

Bro I am so interested in this your last paragrah, because me i for like use 2 nos of 590w jinko panels in series for a 12v system, so that i go always dey maximise d powmr 60amp controller capacity most times. But the 80v max voc wen d controller manual state for 12v system just dey draw me back. Have u used 2 590w jinko panels before or na only 2 555w highest u don use?

Instead of doing "you can", how about you actually say how it can be done.

Na person carry the Deriy batteries come here, since then e just be like say e dey vex some people.

If you have an update on how to make solar cheaper for people, then share and quit meaningless tirades. I no dey understand this thread sometimes.
