Valto all day long. Easy customer service after sales. That you can't buy with money. Most pipo can't do that.

Please guys I’m new here. I’ve ready about 50 pages or so and I’ve seen the discussions about lithium batteries which I am trying to get. From experience please which would you recommend valto (seen many recommendations here) or vestwoods ( recommended by a friend)

You're capping rubbish, even a business minded person knows 200k is a lot of money. And average Nigerian doesn't even care about all these big names yall throw.
He only care about his battery run time and cost effectiveness that's all.

Combo looks good for a beginner and low budget peeps.

Please what's the inbuilt controller PV voltage specs of the inverter?

no need for the above, the argument was only about time frame and availability. if you are buoyant enough and your tubular battery suddenly fail u, are u going to wait for 3months , just because of 200k difference, BTW,there is even several cheaper options on ground. there is BREAD,SUNFIELD, SMS, RESTAR and many others ..

...but 12-volts system are often costly. Plus You need thicker cables.

Would suggest if going for 12-volts system, to ensure the inverter is at least a Dual volt type (i.e having support for both 12v , 24v, 48v)
I never knew there are inverters that support this. Pls can you give names of some inverter branda that that produce this?

All brands have such.
Just so we are clear, what i meant is, there are inVerters that supports multiple voltages e.g 12-volts / 24-volts / 48-volts.
So it's often better you go with one that supports more than 1 voltage e.g 12-volt / 24-volts OR 24-volt / 48-volt OR 12-volts / 24-volts / 48-volts.

That way, your major (or only) reason for upgrading your INVERTER wouldn't be because it does not support your battery configuration.

Same applies to Charge Controllers

A lot of knowledgeable Nigerians cares Oooo. Because the Brand choice, translates to quality to expect.

e get Reason why e difficult to see Tecno, inFinix, Gionee, iTel, etc phone users whose display (screen) has not cracked, broken or been replaced already.

e also get reason why same set of phones could have 20GB ram yet struggle to compete with another phone brand (e.g Sony xPeria) with 3GB ram.

Let's not even speak of Camera, or network quality.

So you see, We really might not care much about Brand, but we do about Quality, and return on investment (getting value for what's paid for). Show me a much cheaper alternative that's reliable and wouldn't disappoint and watch me quickly make it a priority.

Please share examples as I've also been looking for this kind of inverter for years.

To make it clear, what I am seeing from your posts suggests that their are inverters that can support different voltages of batteries at the same time i.e. 12v battery and 24v battery supported by the same inverter?

Not at same time BUT say, you either use 12-volts battery, or 24-volts battery or ...

It's not so Common (especially for non industrial models) probably because People don't think far enough to cause them to ask for such BUT e dey. Some have switches you could use in Selecting the desired Input Voltage, some are automatic (like most charge controllers).

Alternatively, should you happen to know any technician (must not be a Solar engineer) who knows their onion enough, they could even help you make the alteration.
I'm sorry but personally, I am no longer available for such work except it's ma personal stuff. I no too get play Time like I used to. We tend to have less time as we grow older.

Like I tend to tell people, except you think outside the box, you wouldn't see or know things even when they're right in front of you.

Now wey I don talk am, not like it's the first time I am saying or suggesting such; Just that you seem to be the very first person to force me into elaborating more, Hopefully we would slowly start seeing more of them in the corn3

But you stated clearly in your other post that all brands have these kind of inverters....I'm just interested in any example as I have been looking for this type of inverter for years and came to the conclusion that's its not profitable to produce an inverter that can take take different input voltages from batteries as their is clearly a market for it if it existed.

As for examples, abeg try use Google.

either way, here's one https://me3energy.ng/victron-multiplus-inverter-12v-24v-48v-800w

There are inverters with dual voltages but the tech is still not mainstream.

Please don't do this, you're confusing a lot of people with this narrative, most manufacturers include all voltage ranges in ads cos apart from the voltage and capacity differential every other component is the same, so they use the 12v/ 24v/ 36v/ 48v narrative at a stretch to explain the specs of the inverters, most of the top brands like victron have a wider voltage range but it's still an either/or.
Except you can show me a new tech that can do this (apart from solar charge controllers), I'll be inclined to disagree with your narrative. Cheers

Thanks for the examples given, but none of the clickable examples are inverters that accept more than one input voltage.

I was really interested in the Victron (as if anyone could do it, it would be them) but after checking their site and reading the manual it's clear that whatever model of the Multiplus you buy, it only accepts one input voltage.

Same with the aliexpress links you sent that I was able to check.

It's fine. At least MrReed has been able to give an example that appears on a credible site.

One thing I know for sure is that out of every 1000 inverters you see anywhere, you will not see one that is able to accept more than one input voltage, so I am still surprised you easily maintain they are readily available and that you have come across them more than once.

The point saint2ace made was where I was going i.e. we should not mislead newbies that an inverter that can meet that need is readily available so they understand the importance of setting up their systems appropriately from the onset.
