The legend of the Ochi

I know sinners is taking the box office spotlight that's very well deserved but if y'all have the opportunity, please go see this movie. A lot of people are calling it an hybrid of Netflix's the sea beast and Del Toro's Pan's labyrinth which I don't agree with.

With the current death of the dark fantasy/ sword and sorcery genre with most of those stories relegated to TV alone (thanks Game of thrones) and no Tim Burton or Christopher Columbus of this generation to give us a whimsical and colorful blend of dark fantasy, it's refreshing to see those still trying even though they keep failing financially. It's why those AI videos showing us what a 50's fantasy movie would look like or K and C dramas are winning the discourse

I've been hearing of it since last last year I think. It's from A24. They've dropped a couple trailers which I've weirdly been finding difficulty to fully watch. But I hear it's a weird creature fantasy.

I loved shows that explores the dynamics of marriage, shows like Scenes from a Marriage , while Your Friends and Neighbors isn't fully that, I'm enjoying the dynamics between the protagonist and his family.

Now I'm fully invested.

Omo, after 1½ episodes, I'm bored out of my freaking mind. The CEO, COO, all look like children trying to play bosses, they all look like Roman Roy's caliber of people trying to alleviate themselves above their station.

Finally finished The White Lotus.

If there was ever an example of a Beta male, Lochlan is a prime example, how he didn't die it quite shocking despite no first aid was rendered or hospitalization bit the love of his father.

Rick's storyline is some how, you couldn't kill the old man when you traveled to Malaysia, and here I thought he became a new man after 'forgiving' himself and the old man, cos he insulted his mum he goes on a bender he drops him. It would have been a better redemption story if the old man just told him he was his dad instead of insulting his mother.

While those three friends friendship was rocky all through the season, I liked the last episode how they talked through everything and the saddest amongst them got closure in her life.

Belinda was the winner in this season shaa, lottery winner.

As for Gaitok, I have no words. Sometimes you like him, sometimes you hate him.

Overall, it's a 6/10.

Besides the fact that Netflix have a track record of letting production take too long between seasons, Covid plus the writers strike is what delayed filming till 2024. Same with Stranger Things

So far so good, I'm really enjoying it. It's a thrill ride with John Hamm and his misadventures. It's sexy, funny, and entertaining. With some good performances all round.

Sakamoto Days hasn't lived up to expectations with 2 episodes in. It's like I've abandoned it since then. 🙃😩

The Studio continues to over deliver back to back with each episode. It's a thrilling ride with all the brilliant cast and the enlightening insider look into the inner workings of Hollywood and movie making.

Top tier comedy and writing has kept me going all through with the hilarious shit Seth Rogen can't seem to untangle himself from.

Weirdly seems like it's only Apple TV plus shows I've been watching for a month. 🤔

The Last of Us S2E2 was fvcking lit. The episode had such a season finale energy that I had to double-check online to make sure it wasn’t actually the last one.

Pedro Pascal knows his onion. Dude completely nailed it, you could feel every bit of Joel’s emotion through his performance. He’s the perfect choice to carry that role.

I really wish I could jump into the game to see what happens next, but unfortunately, my PC isn’t up to the task. It’s funny how 4GB dedicated graphics cards are already struggling to keep up with newer console-to-PC ports titles. Would really love to see a Days Gone movie or series adaptation

The Last of Us 2 gameplay is insane although the story was pretty bad and pisses me off compared to the first! - I recommend getting a desktop not a laptop with Nvidia Gen 5 latest or else your device will blow the Bleep out

Except you are aiming for hyper realistic 8K ray tracing or some overkill wild shii like that, i think it's easier and to some extent, cheaper , to just get a capable console than jumping through hoops every time to upgrade a PC gaming rig, because no matter what set up you have, it might never be enough.
