As the political climate intensifies ahead of Nigeria's 2027 presidential elections, a growing number of voices are cautioning political leaders and key figures who have endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term. According to political analysts and dissenting voices within the public sphere, these endorsements could prove to be a significant mistake that would haunt the supporters in the coming years. Prominent figures in the political landscape, some of whom had once stood by Tinubu's leadership, are now warning that pushing for his re-election is an error that could lead to regret. With the current administration's handling of key issues like the economy, insecurity, and public trust being heavily scrutinized, many believe that backing Tinubu again could further erode Nigeria’s democratic integrity. One vocal critic, Dr. Emeka Ofor, a political analyst, said, "The endorsements are shortsighted. They fail to take into account the public disillusionment and dissatisfaction with the current government’s policies. These leaders backing Tinubu may later have to face Nigerians with apologies for their decisions.” The backlash against those publicly endorsing Tinubu has grown as critics point to the skyrocketing inflation rates, the plummeting value of the naira, and the ever-growing concerns over security and corruption. With rising unemployment and increased hardship across the nation, many citizens feel that another term under Tinubu's leadership would only prolong the struggles. A former ally of Tinubu who wished to remain anonymous warned that the president’s second term would likely result in an intensified erosion of public confidence. "When they see how things play out over the next few years, they will be compelled to ask Nigerians for forgiveness," the source said. Public sentiment on social media and political platforms is rife with calls for a change in direction, with many Nigerians pointing out that the decision to endorse Tinubu for another term could be a fatal mistake for those who wish to retain any political relevance in the future. As the political landscape continues to shift, it remains to be seen whether these early endorsements will ultimately prove to be an unwise move or a calculated step toward maintaining power at all costs. Regardless, the growing chorus of dissent suggests that many are preparing to hold these political figures accountable come 2027. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZK2C3DH3n_c&pp=ygUTVGludWJ1IG9sZSBvbGQgbWFuIA%3D%3D |

The World bank released a statement yesterday, that by 2027 more NIGERIANS will become poorer. I have said it repeatedly, that any attempt to make Tinubu go for a second tenure in 2027, Nigerians will see SHEGE season 2. This time, The suicide index will triple Unemployment index will escalate to the highest in Africa & the world. Poverty index will be horrible Begging and prostitution index will be also the highest in Africa Out of school Children index, will hit a world breaking record. Kidnapping and insecurity will hit a world breaking record. Infact Nigeria will then be the most dangerous place in the world 🌍. Thank God I am no more in the Country. Those who have sense, get sense now. Suffering and insecurity does not know tribe Political party or religion. I have been in nairaland for 17 year's. I have posted warnings like this in 2015 when everyone was singing Buhari was a saviour, so many people attacked my comments. Years letter, I was like a prophet. I will screenshot this post as an evidence in the future. May God keep us safe and healthy. |

Those who are supporting Tinubu and rooting for him are already in abject poverty. 80% of them are in serious poverty and some of them want others to join them in that wretchedness, hence their major reason for supporting him while the rest are simply for tribal domination. |

On a careful note, Master's comments were built on the notion that the Arewa (Northern) guys are planning to disrupt Tinubu's 8 Years. Hence his second comment " Tinubu should be allowed to do his 8 years just as Buhari did 8 in order to avoid problems". His call on the Niger Deltans and south to support TInubu is simple call to the southerners that there should be no vacancy for a northerner 2027.😁😁. Master Tompolo is not forcing anyone to support TInubu. He is simply calling on southerners to stand with a southern president and wade off any threat from the north. is dat wat is vexing U? chilax even me no like TInubu but if the north think they can disrupt his eight years with a northern candidate, even my vote go shock then! |

That BAT must go is not in question, the issue is, which of the present contenders for the 'throne' can tye masses rally around and be held accountable? The mess bat and apc has put Nigeria in requires someone who can stop the present rot, and then build positively from there. |

Sharpsharp00123:Is it that you’re not looking at if the country is moving in the positive direction or not ? I practically don’t practice tribalism, I don’t care where the person that will liberate Nigeria come from, Nigerians rejoiced having Yar’Adua Musa, I don’t give a Fvck if an Ekiti is the person that will do that or a Kastina man or a Delta man or an idoma person… or even a Lagos person… the point here is that Tinubu has nothing to offer Nigeria except politics…. Politics is different from leadership… it hurts that Nigerians are kept on bondage by the government and politicians, while the youths continue defending them. You know quite well that Yemi Osibanjo will make a better leader more than Tinubu, Yorubas have very sound minds, even the north have that too… Nigerians are well aware of their state but rejoice when an idiot leads them… same thing I said about Buhari, why can’t Nigeria remove tribalism and religion and look at competence… Tinubu is not a leader, same with Buhari,…. Only true leader Nigeria ever had was Yar’Adua… Jonathan was a leader but a weak one … Stop rejoicing over a politician, start asking for leaders to lead the country, stop thinking it’s “It’s paining them, it’s sweeting us” You need to know that tribalism is a tool that makes you not to question competence |
