Remo Stars really deserve being the champion of the league. Leading the second place, Rivers United by 10 points when the league still remains 3 games isn’t something that happens often in the NPFL/NPL. It will take Nairaland moderators good 2days to push these thread to front page if na foreign league now vooom he no go take 10secs before he enter front page. Liverpool who has been confirm champions has been in front page in a Nigerian site called nairaland but Nigerian premier league club Remo that was confirm same day still not on front page. Make una no dey critize government say them no dey promote the country for foreign investors we ourselves na still problem to ourselves. Remo Stars is arguably the best run club in the NPFL so this isn't really surprising. Also, it was only a matter of time as they had come close a few times in the past years. I'm happy Mr Kunle Soname's investment in our football is finally paying off. Nigeria Football league should consider doing the Northern Conference and the Southern Conference after which the best in each go for play-off.. you know like they do in the NBA Eastern Conference and Western Conference.. this would help reduce travel fatigue and logistics cost for the clubs, and the fans would be able to adequately support their clubs in away games. You can imagine Kano Pillar going all the way to play Remo Stars in Lagos and vice versa.. in most games, away teams have zero fan supports, aside the officials they came with. This is why there is high home win rate and away losses across all the clubs in Nigeria Leagues. If we truly want a thriving competition, we have got to find a way to make it easy for the clubs, whilst entertaining the fans and supporters and creating a balanced setting for those that place bet on the teams.. Do you always wonder why you don see Nigerian clubs in livescores chart and betting sites.. this is why. The league is tensed for everyone. It shouldn't be so.
