There was a day i was going to get my clothes from my tailor then boom i came across a group of hausa guys washing their tiger nuts so they could start selling. I swear the kind of water i saw them using hmmm, till today I never got appetite for tiger nuts again.

Buy unopened coconut. Wash with clean water from your comfort zone and open to eat.
Don't allow some market people to cut water melon, orange, coconut, pineapple or any easy to reach street fruit or food for you. Their knife, tool, basin and stock are always ladden with spiro-germans.
To treat fruit poisoning will cost you N2K to N10K and that's if you no see death brother or die on top am.
Your hygiene is important. Cleanliness is closer to godliness.
