While it's unfortunate what happened to the woman.... judgement shouldn't be passed based on emotions but according to law.....culpable homicide or aggravated manslaughter attracts10 to 25years depending on the judges discretion......... Someone will definitely appeal the judgement

What's the forensic evidence that he killed her? Even if he hit her a couple of times prior to her death, is that enough to sentence him to death? In sane climes a sentence of between 5 to 10 ten years would have sufficed since he didn't murder her in Cold blood.

Not holding brief for the man in any way, but death by hanging is an extreme punishment for a crime of passion. Within the household.

This sentence will be drastically reduced at the appeal court, not to mention Supreme court.

I know the case...and the judge is just trying to exploit the loop hole of the penal code which provides an exception to pass death sentence

The truth is there is actually no evidence of intention to cause death

No details o! Nothing! An autopsy was done and it revealed she died from causes that had no link with physical harm. Dr. Paul Enenche himself sent top doctors to attend to the woman before her death. Not one of them said violence in any way led to her death. This judgement by the courts is a mystery to me.


Here's Dr. Paul Enenche himself on YouTube talking about what he knows about her death. In the beginning of the video, we clearly hear him say that Osinachi AND her husband came to meet him for prayer regarding her chest issues. We hear him mention that at some point, Osinachi was recovering fully after admission. Not one of the consultants mentioned that they saw injury in her from any form of trauma.

Did her husband beat her? Yes. Is that defensible? No. Did she die as a result of the beatings? Hell no!
