Our rulers are too exposed to claim they are ignorant.

This is just wizardry in daylight.
Pure Wizardry ma...!

These people know what developing nations are doing to better their countries... It isn't Rocket science.

But, corruption and greed won't allow them replicate these here.

It's difficult to see a brighter future for this nation.

Lol… this proves that government is aware they’re underpaying you…

Pay workers $10 per hour and see if anyone will think about leaving Nigeria
It's not even about the pay alone.

Fix the hospitals, roads, security architecture, and facilities... And, many won't leave despite the low pay.

Many people don't japa solely because of money.

A lot leave for the sake of their sanity and peace of mind.

There are health care workers who are passionate about helping their citizens, but ended up leaving as their mental health began to suffer due to what I outlined above.

This country. What's the job availability and security ratio compared to her graduate pool?

National unemployment rate is at 33%, with Akwa Ibom pegged at 50%.
Economic instability.
Underfunded Health Sector
Poor Infrastructure
Up to 10 times lower wages than obtainable abroad.
Poor job satisfaction.
Worsening insecurity targeting earners like them.
Unfair labour practices and rights violation by global standards.

But let's ignore all these root causes and force them to stay.
Nej, I think by 'recruit' they mean they'll be on fully funded scholarship, and perhaps with some allowance. And after training, they give them job automatically untill they serve out the term. Anything outside that means they are wasting their time

Enabling environment- poor
Security - poor
Salary - poor
Non availability of equipment in the hospital. You try your best to save people's life while your life isn't safe. Even NHIS is now a scam.
And you say they shouldn't go to where they'll get all these? Keep joking.

But when it's time to embezzle in billions, you won't remember it's tax payers' investments you are stealing... You will now switch party to the ruling party and be set free.
God will catch all of you...

"In utmost sincerity, if I were fortuitously enumerated among the distinguished health personnel of Akwa Ibom State, I would, without hesitation, append my illustrious signature to the aforementioned oath with all the solemnity of a man pledging allegiance to the flag. However, let it be inscribed upon the tablets of posterity that should the celestial portals of opportunity swing open — be it in Canada, the United Kingdom, or the distant shores of New Zealand — I shall, with neither guilt nor apology, activate my diplomatic legs and migrate with the velocity of divine mandate. Loyalty is noble, but destiny, my brothers and sisters, is irresistible."
That would be fraud....the very same reason you would run in spite of your signature!

Most of our politicians 4don die for using Bibles and Quans for oath of office.
Not this kind of oath.
It's a bond that can be as long as 10-15 years

😄If Nigeria pay their nurses better, they will gladly work for their country.
Majority of them went to public versities, school fees was subsidized.

The oath of office the governor and his people in governance took, do they live by the oath?
Treat your staff well and they won't bother to run away but with the rate of decamping into the APC, there welfarism is not in your state neither is it in this county

If you get chance to japa, please do?

Hahahahahhahaha hahaha!!

This country ehnnnn!! So it has eventually come to this point....

I remember when journalists asked Chri Ngige when he was minister a couple of years back about the rippling effect of medical doctors immigration
.......he said there were more than enough doctors in Nigeria and many more in universities that will graduate and replace them, whoever wants to leave should leave...

Now...a bulk of doctors that we have in GOPD are those who use Google to diagnose patients..

This is not fair, you can't force me to serve my father's land. It's my responsibility as bonafide citizen. Definitely you can't get the best out of me if you impose such.

Provide security, eradicate all greedy politicians, provide good road, water and stable electricity, improve the standard of our health and agricultural sectors, regulate the price of everything, good standard of living for the people (both skilled and unskilled labours).

And finally, no one should travel abroad either for any treatment or medical checkup again.

Sorry you must add this too;
Death sentence to anyone that steal government money.

Lol
Very SENSELESS evil government.
How will so-called aoth or pap or whatever affect anything?
Didn't you people in government take the same aoth to rule well and not steal? Have you abide by it?

You pay health workers between 80-250k (ONE OF THE WORST AND LOWEST IN THE WORLD AT THE MOMENT ) in a month, which is like 50-150 dollars.

So if see opportunity where they'll pay me 250-400k a week at least in an environment where things work, you expect me to stay behind?

You must all just be re tards and jokers.

No big deal. The president ,governors ministers , state and federal house of assembly , senate, local government chairmen etc all take oath but steal with little or no consequences . The health workers should do same

They trained and paid their their training. So it's wise they recoup their investment or better still let the health workers use their funds to undergo the training program

Truly, Nigeria is but a zoo.

The same stupid govt that wouldn't subsidize cost of education but rather seek every opportunity to extort these students are the same calling the students "their investment".
