Sometimes I wonder if these people praising President Tinubu's government live in the same Nigeria we all live in.
Keyamo and other members of Oshiomole’s Assembly of Past Crooks, APC are living lavish lives on the shege that they unleashed on us instead of the change promised 10 years ago.

They are a special breed of Nigerians who are immune to this hardship.

chisomkachy:
Nigerian President Bola Tinubu’s first supplementary budget includes a fleet of SUVs for himself and his wife, a presidential yacht and the renovation of his villa amid a cost-of-living crisis for some of the poorest people in the world.

The proposal — which seeks additional funding beyond the annual budget approved by Tinubu’s predecessor — comes as the government asks Nigerians to persevere through pain caused in part by a raft of economic reforms ushered in by the new president. Africa’s most populous country faces rampant unemployment, soaring food prices and a plummeting currency.

Federal lawmakers approved the president’s request for extra spending on Thursday, but eliminated the provision of 5 billion naira ($6.01 million) to buy a presidential yacht. Instead, they doubled the allocation to a student loan fund to 10 billion naira, according Abubakar Bichi, chairman of an appropriations committee in the House of Representatives.

The lawmakers approved 1.5 billion-naira proposed to purchase SUVs for the office of First Lady Oluremi Tinubu — an amount larger than that allocated to many individual federal colleges. The supplementary budget also proposes almost 6 billion naira to purchase SUVs for the presidency — more than the amount initially allocated to fund a student loan program for poor families.

Party system in Nigeria is killing leadership roles in our country. Look at America, just only two parties. Let the parties be reduced or eventually scraped!

Well said.

In fact, if there's a 3rd term, Jagaban should be re-elected.

But I trust him, he would fight to ensure someone who would continue with the good works gets the mantle from him.

You are absolutely right that APC shege is unstoppable in 2027 for more hardship, extreme poverty, corruption, insecurity, unemployment, inflation etc.

Done deal for extra level suffering.

Did you get your own daily bread palliative today? We praise God for not letting you die fighting in the stampede for free food in the absence of jobs that pay a living wage in dignity.

A large crowd of Lagosians was filmed in a long queue struggling to collect a loaf of bread. To maintain order, several military personnel were on the ground to control the crowd. This has triggered a lot of reactions online.

Honestly keyamo is a daft.

You call insecurity, kidnapping, terrorism progress.

Nigeria is dying slowing we need innovative, honest, good leaders to bring Nigeria out of APC mess.
What he means is that it will be tragic for him and his cronies if another party wins, afterall where will he get all the juicy deals and choppings? See as he gets fatter everyday like a pig.

Is this what he is doing in Lagos since 1999, to loot the state into a glorified ghetto of no water supply, no free education, no free healthcare and other failures in basic services and utilities despite the huge amount of IGR squeezed out of the public huh

Splashme:
The first civilian governor of Lagos State, Alhaji Lateef Jakande, on Tuesday, said that the cancellation of the Lagos metroline project in 1985 was a major mistake and disservice to many Nigerians.

Jakande spoke in Lagos during the launch of a book which chronicled his life in politics and journalism.

The book, entitled, ‘Jakande: Leadership in Action’ is written by Dr. Bola Olaosebikan, who told the audience at the event that the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), was not responsible for the cancellation of the project.

Jakande said, “Reflecting on the metroline project, I think it is a major disservice to many Nigerians. Imagine how many people would have benefitted. It would have made life easier and changed the face of transport in Lagos. Whoever cancelled it or gave the advice towards its cancellation didn’t do right.”

The former governor asked Nigerians not to vote for unserious leaders in the coming polls, saying the elections presented Nigerians with a good opportunity that should not be squandered.

Expressing the hope that Nigeria would soon overcome its developmental challenges, Jakande said hope would be actualised faster if credible people emerged as leaders in the next dispensation.

He said, “This book comes at a very auspicious time in Nigeria’s history as we need leaders who can act. We need leaders who would not compromise the standards of good governance. God has blessed this nation the most in Africa, although we have not reached where we should be; with the right leaders, Nigeria would overcome its challenges.”

Tinubu already gave conditions for his reelection.
He said if he does not provide power, and stop estimated light billing, we should not vote for him in 2027.
Till now, even Aso Rock and the National Assembly do not have regular power.
Nigeria is still in darkness.
Estimated light billing everywhere.

So Tinubu will not be reelected. Gbam 💥

Nigerians should avoid Tinubu 2027
Tinubu destroyed Nigeria economy by removing subsidy and floating of Naira d same time without adequate policies to regulate it .
I regretted for supporting Tinubu 2023 because of the notion him built Lagos.
No normal person will support Tinubu
Only his political appointees and beneficiaries

Re: 2027: It Will Be Tragic For Another Party To Stop APC, Tinubu’s Reform – Keyamo by Victor468: 11:56am On Apr 29, 2025
It will be tragic indeed. What has separated Lagos State from other States in terms of development? Continuity of the goveenment in power and policy. Unfortunately, whenever new par take over from another, they jettison running policies and begin to witch hunt their predecessor. Isn't that waste of public resources and valuable time? Has such moves ever yielded any meaningful fruit? NO!
So, it is advisable for all people who are against this administration to have change of heart and attitude because whatever a man wish himself, the universe concors.
A typical example is America. The people who voted in Trump as their President, aren't they regretting it now? The policy that have stabilized the USA and the world over the years are been jettisoned and affecting their stability and peace. Unfortunately, they will have to live with their choice for the next 4 years.
This current administration uner the leadership of PBAT is here to change the history of Nigeria for the better. Let's all support him to do so.
