The number one reason we are suffering in this country is our taste for extravagant spending, starting from president to the poor, in fact, average Nigerians spend extravagantly than the elites.

Whenever I see some people talking, those people who are predominantly less than average, ....they would be talking how they went to club and waste money there, some how they go for expensive phone and wrist watch, yet the same people would be lamenting in another breath, how economy hard and how they are broke and things hard for them.
People like e money get money
Check Google b4 u talk jare

It's invite they invite people for such case, if you refuse invite they can declare you wanted. Everyone knows this is the procedure. Do note, E money is arrested for going against the foreign exchange act, this might be a more serious offence than spraying naira... using dollars in Nigeria affect our economy seriously and our naira depreciate also because of that, a kind of economic sabotage, it's clearly a more serious offence on the economy.

You were saying nothing was done to them, am showing you they were invited and even made a public apology. The case is a bailable offence, and it's up to the discretion of the investigating officer to grant bail or not.

Why should i defend anything? He made a factually incorrect statement about the Bello case, which I simply corrected.

Maybe you can explain what that has to do with the Okoya boys.

show me links of their arrest
Your posted image clearly shows they were summoned, so actions were taken. Mind you going against foreign exchange act is a more serious offence than spraying naira.

But they arrested the officer that held the cash for them...and that's what sparked the outrage that made them invite them...of which they didn't even honour the invitation....show us proof that they went there .... not showing us apology on twitter ...

Stop moving goal posts, you people take online talks too seriously...the fact of the matter is that actions were taken, they went to EFCC office and posted bail, of course a police man deserve more punishment, the police should know better than those rich kids. Whoever you say was arrested first is inconsequential and subjective.

This is one offense that most Nigerians would feel proud to be arrested for.

First prisoner: What are you here for
Second prisoner: For spraying money
Re: Naira abuse: EFCC Arrests E-money by truthfinder4u: 1:15pm On Apr 29, 2025
naira or dollar abuse? confused as E F ? ?
Re: Naira abuse: EFCC Arrests E-money by rigid123: 1:23pm On Apr 29, 2025
Serves him right!
What a primitive display of wealth. If you say you have made money, do something meaningful that would write your name in the book of history.

Instead of the one-tune one-beat single-lyric local kind of music they make from that their part of Nigeria, why not establish a music school that will teach the youth from that area how to make good modern and internationally acceptable music?

Employ experienced international capable persons to teach the youth how to compose and write good lyrics, make good beats and all that.

Establish the structure and boldly right your name there, this will have your name immortalized forever. This is the best way of displaying affluence.

It is profoundly disheartening that in a nation crippled by monumental corruption, institutional decay, and pervasive economic hardship, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has elected to expend its dwindling relevance on the arrest of Business Mogul, E-Money, for the ostensible offence of spraying dollars at a public event. One is compelled to ask: is this the apex of financial crime in Nigeria?

The EFCC, once envisioned as a formidable guardian of our fiscal integrity, has tragically metamorphosed into a performative agency — a toothless bulldog barking in the marketplace, seeking to impress rather than impact. Rather than channel its efforts into dismantling the entrenched networks of elite corruption, embezzlement, and fraudulent public procurement, it has chosen the path of sensationalism, pursuing high-profile figures for infractions that are, at best, symbolic.

This latest arrest reeks of clout-chasing — a hollow display of authority designed to massage public sentiment while the real architects of Nigeria's economic tragedy dine unperturbed in their ivory towers. It is almost certain that E-Money, like many before him, will regain his freedom in no time, and this episode will dissolve into yet another spectacle with no meaningful consequence.

Until the EFCC redirects its energies toward substantive economic crimes and the prosecution of powerful kleptocrats, it will remain a caricature of its intended purpose — loud, visible, but ultimately ineffectual.
No kee yourself oooo
