If you can read and write then you will know that EFCC has arrested and is currently prosecuting Yahaya Bello. Only the Courts can jail criminals, not EFCC

Lol... Talk is always cheap!

EFCC, INEC, Senate and the Judiciary are not interested nor oriented to work for justice or the benefit of average Nigerians.

Highly corrupt and compromised people leading the nation's Anti-Corruption organization!

Nigeria is a theater of Ironies. grin

To be fair to him, they did arrest and present Yahaya Bello to the court.

But the judiciary granted him bail.

Most people commenting here don’t even know the different between EFCC mandate and how it integrate with the court system.

"But actually, Bello was arrested and his case is before the court of law " that will be the EFCC chairman's excuse

How?

Yahaya Bello had a settlement with the authorities and probably surrendered his assets....

Olukayode is currently the biggest disgrace to all right thinking Ekiti people especially people from Ikere Ekiti.

He talks faster than his thought process.

If he cannot prosecute Yahaya Bello, Orji Uzor Kalu, Ganduje, Okowa, Ikpeazu who moved 10B to an account for a non-existent Airport.

He will go down as one of the least performing EFCC chair.

hmm, Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello is currently facing two significant legal cases initiated by Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), involving alleged misappropriation and laundering of public funds totaling over ₦190 billion.

On December 10, 2024, Justice Anenih denied Bello’s bail application, citing its premature filing intended to preempt the court. Consequently, Bello was ordered to be remanded in Kuje Correctional Centre pending the fulfillment of stringent bail conditions, including the submission of title documents for a Maitama property and his passport .
Bello was granted bail on December 13, 2024, by the Federal High Court in Abuja. Justice Emeka Nwite approved bail set at ₦500 million, with conditions including the surrender of his passport and provision of sureties who must own property within Abuja.

i guess you are expecting the efcc chairman to personally carry out jungle justice by sentencing Bello or what? Is he the court that granted bail?
