Abeg eeee. I saw more acting chops in "pain and gain" (his best role in my opinion) than this because this is just him playing him again. It's like the hype with J'lo in hustlers when it was literally her playing her thinking it will be her time to shine during award season. I do have to praise his chemistry with Blunt though, it's evident in the trailer and looks like it will be better than their chemistry in jungle cruise

Dwayne and most Hollywood typecasts actually do have range, that range just tend to bury itself in their brand and if they get rid of that brand, they loose their bread, it's why people take Bautista seriously compared to Dwayne because he got rid of that brand even though he lost fans in the process, he gained new ones. Dwayne isn't man enough to put "The Rock" to sleep which limits his talent

lol he has been on some god tier shît, for a while now but people are only just catching up, and he has a couple of grammys and academy awards to back up his clout. I didn't buy into his hype when he scored "Black Panther" (2018), but when bro whipped up that "Mando" score, i instantly knew he had that dawg in him 😩😩.

Imagine CN moving from the legendary Hans to him, you should know, he is a big deal! Plus he works so well with Ryan Coogler, resembling the impressive filmmaker/composer run, Damien Chazalle and Justin Hurwitz where on at one time.

I tell you this guy, will finally be the one to snatch, Hans Zimmer's chains....too good 😬

Me, I'm just waiting for the people who'd bash Scott Mendelson, Lucas Shaw, Matt Belloni and the likes who've been singing the death of cinema since the beginning of the year cause we got a slow Q1 with March outrightly flopping.

From this Summer down to December, it's ultimately STACKED. The only weaker month I see is September. The rest are massive.

That Mando score was fire!!
I repeated that shit like mad sotey I don't know how I unconsciously began singing or humming the song almost all the time even while at work for 3 months. The dudes good.

I wasn't enamored by Black Panther but his recent works has been top tier.

He has a high ceiling and looks to be way ahead of his contemporaries presently. The only one that can compete with him presently is probably Michael Giachino.
One other person I feel is a bit underrated presently is Hildur Gudnadóttir.

I feel SINNERS is going to get back its screens after a week or two. SINNERS is a powerhouse presently on IMAX and I don't think all its screens would be given to THUNDERBOLTS.

No one thought SINNERS would outperform expectations like this and the IMAX screens had been booked a long time before now for THUNDERBOLTS based on MCU prestige.
IMAX also has an uncanny reputation of supporting movies from filmmakers who champions their camera format.

Lol, this man is hell bent on destroying the Cinema experience.
