Do People Really Adapt/survive after this ? by SpreshMan(op):
Good morning pals, do people really adapt to the cold weather when they travel abroad (U.k and Canada as case study ) this is especially for people who are allergic to cold and suffer in mild cold weathers in Nigeria : For instance Danny, a popular influencer on X once wrote about how he quickly ran back to Nigeria from the Uk after experiencing intense cold . I believe there are a lot of people who are like that too me inclusive …

So do people really adapt or is it a live-long situation of suffering and managing the weather condition.

The first week I landed in western world, it was very sunny and yet the temperature was very cold at the same time..

I remember running back inside.. that was about 13 years ago. Now I dey used to am.

The key is dressing appropriately. There are undergarments , jeans, shoes , socks and jackets specifically for the varying degrees of coldness for winter.

If you are not dressed appropriately, for that particular level of coldness, you will suffer.

So in other words, one can really adapt , yeah ?

In my consideration for Jakpa, cold is really top factors; checked weather on my App here in Abuja and it’s showing 26 degrees and I’m still covering myself because of a little rain that fell, now imagine going to a country with O degrees to even -

Yes! You will adapt...
Adaptability is part of the attributes of a living thing.

In the US states like Georgia, Texas and Arizona may not see snow for 3 years.

This is me skiing ( profile picture) and on a frozen lake in minus 20 degrees. You adapt to the cold in one or two years. With the appropriate jackets, thermal etc you would be sweating inside the cold self
