ddippset:Pdp don't really recognize the governor has leader of the party. Tony Anenih was the leader of pdp in edo state for several years until is death. Only APC recognize that and the vice president said same thing in Asaba but urge the defecting governor to carry other leaders along. |

AdesegunSanni89:Don't mind those fools who don't remove the log in thier eyes but want to remove dirt in another ones eyes. Yeye people. Obi even went to the point of swearing. When he joined pdp, he was pictured sharing money in anambra during Jonathan's re election. All of a sudden he is now a saint, just because they want igbo presidency. |

Meanwhile, on another major political development, the PDP in the Ikom Local Government Area of Cross River State has suffered a mass defection, How many people are in the party in one state? Thousands cross 😲 |

I doubt you understood what you wrote. Wike was never in APC (and not liable to their constitution, and neither "was" Fubara an APC member at the start of their crises. Now, let's pretend to dance to your other tunes. Why on earth would an Okowa, an alleged squanderer of Delta State's patrimony to the tune of #1.3t (funding and chasing a VP position that was never going to happen) be asking for trouble from his successor (who relatively was in the know of how his predecessor squandered their Commonwealth on a wild goose chase) even though Okowa did not carry his matter for head like gala, the way Wike did in Fubara's case. Wike was commissioning projects till 2weeks to the election (using it to clear the road for same Fubara). You may not believe this, but Udom and Eno, Dickson and Diri were not in the same caliber of political godfather and godson the way it was for Wike and Fubara. What major oppositions were against Eno and Diri the way Fubara ddippset: |

Confirmedzombie:Don't tamper with my structure.. Dem born Wike with structure? 80 percent of Odilis structure transred to Amaechi automatically. 80 percent of Amaechi's structure transfered to Wike automatically. E reach Wike turn e say "don't touch my structure" He's a shameless man. |

kedeojo:That's a lie... Every party has an unwritten understanding that the leader is the governor, except there is a senior senior figure in the mould of Tony Anenih. Wike is not at that figure level. If there is to be any leader aside Fubara it should even be Odili. |

Bobodee09:We don't know about that. What we know is that none of the rest chose CSO, COS, SSG, all commissioners, all assembly for their successor. None of them exhibited such level of greed against their successor. |

KingPure:It's not a party issue. It's a common sense issue. Every party takes the governor as the leader except exceptional cases were there is a senior senior figure. Secondly are you really sure that between Wike and Okowa, Okowa took more? Because EFCC didn't check Wike? ![]() Dey play! Lastly you have no excuse on this earth to justify the behavior of a man who chose all assembly members, all commissioners, even Chief Security Officer. Haba! |

It will get to a time Apc will no longer accept defections because they will be no longer oppositions |

ddippset:Well I state my point with no emotion or sentiment attached. One thing I know for sure is all Nigerian politicians are the same and I will never take side when they first. Wike and fubara will settle tomorrow while people like you was just worked up on one behalf for nothing. |

justi40:Sheriff is an grounded politician as a former youth leader It would be foolish for any party to mess with his feelings As for Ned and Former DSP, they are both expendables....Agege is nowhere near Sheriff within Urhobo nations politics and Ned is no match for Okowa .....even his people will vote okowa ahead of him |

They may think it is business as usual until they all lose their seats. A strong opposition should build up in these states. One thing about life is that failure might come when you think it is a walkover |

Agreement is stronger than hearsay or busy-bodies, or say pity-parties my brother. That was why Ukwa (Nkem Owoh) sang that song; "Agreement is agreement". I wasn't there when either of 'em agreed to the terms of "submission and help", but one thing is clear sir, someone reneged from playing his part. The major reason why PBAT intervened was because agreement is sacrosanct in his political school, else he'd have allowed them to carry on just like in the case of Sanwo-Olu and Obasa. Now, whether Wike stole more than Okowa is beyond me, and I graciously so submit. But I know that Wike was busy commissioning projects till he handed over to His Excellency Simi Fubs, w/c neither Okowa nor Udom and Dickson did in their domains. ddippset: |

KingPure:What sort of mindset in this? "Agreement is agreement" So Wike used Rivers state to make agreement?? Does the state belong to him? His private property? If for instance your senior brother who is the head of your family company goes and makes agreement with your last brother to take over and be sharing illegal funds with him or controlling the company alone,, So you will tell your last brother to be doing everything that agreement is agreement? You really need to quit with this mentality enabling corruption. |

The government has secured the future of the state under the APC and tired of opposition and pdp has not even begun mending internal divisions, let alone positioning itself to win the 2027 election. Same dynamics that led to the pdp's previous loss particularly the push for a Southern presidency which will be a threat to Tinubu reelection are likely to play out again, and Atiku is still expected to emerge as the party flagbearer |
