let's be hopeful, everything will definitely turn out well. Just that I don't like how some Nigerians behave to some extent. Organization that scam they won't report, is to now go to the extent of taking an organization to court. If by any means Greenacy win the case. Greenacy should sue who ever that wrote that partition for defamation, with serious legal implications. Aura for Aura

Exactly the fact, anyone who accuses an Individual or an Organization to be a scam should face legal consequences. An organization willing to employ and impact climate knowledge we are using our own hands to paint them black. Our people we really need prayers

What if it turns out the other way? They should also face severe consequences including prison terms for all who supported them like you

Please, on average how long will the Court process take? Obviously they're going to win. The petition will be thrown out.
Re: Greenacy Scam Scam Scam by Chiomzy144: 4:26pm On May 03, 2025
Petition is not court summons. They will have to respond to the petition via their legal team and clarify things. What will take time is for those reviewing the response to the petition to give verdict. It's when the petition is evidently showing a crime that would lead to court proceedings. I am not a lawyer but that's what I often believed. Someone should correct me if I am wrong please, still learning here on earth

Is either you're not exposed to foreign remote jobs or just ignorant of the recent development in Nigeria about E-affidavit.

Notarization of affidavits is a standard procedure during hiring process in western countries. Greenacy is an International NGO. In this case, two recommendations are given:
1. Download the form and get it signed by a recognized notary public. OR
2. Through a recommended online notary public.

Let me educate you a little.

Are you aware that affidavits can now be processed online in Nigeria through the Federal High Court's Electronic Affidavit (E-Affidavit) system, which was officially launched in July 2024? This was done to streamline the affidavit process, making it more efficient and accessible. And of course, you must pay for the notary service.

For you to think that Greenacy organization is the one charging for the notary service is a testament of your ignorance. PLEASE STOP MISINFORMING PEOPLE.

Note: I'm not an applicant but just can't stand your ignorance.

This job is showing all the signs of being a scam. First of all, why are we being asked to meet physically for a job that was clearly advertised as remote? In this digital age, any legitimate remote role should conduct interviews virtually—via Google Meet, Teams, or Zoom. The insistence on a physical meeting already raises red flags.

Secondly, why were we added to a WhatsApp group and addressed by a “coordinator” before we were even offered the job? No credible organization does that. A proper recruitment process doesn’t start with a group chat. It starts with an official offer and onboarding process—not random group messages.

Thirdly, the payment request is the biggest red flag of all. Initially, they said no payments were required. Yet suddenly, there’s a link directing us to pay for an notarization. No reputable company would ask candidates to pay money—especially not through informal channels. At most, they would direct you to verify your documents legally, perhaps through a court—not to an unknown person or payment platform.

And when you look into this company, you’ll find that the only review on the entire internet is from one person in nairaland and it was posted just last month, around the same time their LinkedIn page was created. How is that possible for a company that’s supposedly doing mass recruitment? There’s no background, no history, no credibility.

Let’s also be real about the numbers. They claim over 500 of us got this “financing” role through an NGO. But where’s the funding for that kind of scale? Who’s paying the salaries? And speaking of salary—$350 to $700 per week? That sounds too good to be true. In today’s economy, especially in Nigeria, that kind of pay for a supposedly entry-level, remote role is highly suspicious. Do you know how much that is in naira? It doesn’t add up.

Even the assessment process was questionable. Some say it was rigorous—it wasn’t. It was rushed and filled with irrelevant, frustrating questions. Recruitment wrapped up in less than two weeks. That’s not how proper hiring processes work.

Everything about this smells off. From the WhatsApp group to the payment link, the unrealistic pay, and the company’s non-existent digital presence—it’s all screaming scam. Please, let’s be vigilant and not fall for it.

I just came back to say that it's so easy to scam us, they would have pulled it off if not for people who noticed meanwhile some of you guys were busy making excuses for them and honestly I don't blame you I blame our leaders for making us desperate. Where is their LinkedIn and IG, why couldn't you find any of their staff on LinkedIn? Why is the notary page on notaryou not working?

Please, have anyone gotten any further correspondence since about the GREENACY job?

Sincerely, those that talked them down, are the problems we have in this country. Now, possibility might be that they've given up in launching in Nigeria due to the gross name calling to them as a SCAM company. It's not fair at all.

I so much believe those who are beating this drum of hate are those who didn't make it to the final stage because their ambitious target at the set pay for the job per month is making them bitter and uncomfortable. They should just take a chill pill. Nonsense!!!
