What is good about creating unnecessary hardship, plunging student into advancing debt in a country employment is not guaranteed and workers are under paid

Considering the level of Corruption rooted in our system would it not have made much sense if Govt subsidize education or just leave things as they met it

NOW, student loan unsuccessive with few beneficiaries as tution fee as skyrocketed ... no gain no progress

I am not surprise, the pace at which Tinubu govt came up with the initiative and implemented it ... it was a decoy Tinubu can not swear his hands are clean

The world is way too advanced than saying those you copied from didnt get it right. There's much information to read from to guide. The student loan body should administer the whole process and not the university system.

From inception, it was done that way so that those who would want to accuse the government in the future can be reminded that they are as corrupt as the government.

All Nigerian varsity owns a bank account where they track payments of fees and for easy audit from federal government.

The government aligned with schools to make the payment directly to them. For a number of students registered on their database.

Also, like I said with time this will correct itself.

No matter how much you get a guide about anything, your peesonal experience is what shape you into a perfect delivery of services.

You nailed it.Even he too, how trustworthy is he. 90% of we Nigerians are potential thieves, only waiting for the opportunity to come our way. Most Nigerians don't hate corruption we only shout when we are not the one benefiting from it.

The corruption in the varsity was not pronounced as the corruption in the oil sector.

If you okayed the removal of subsidies in the oil sector, then removing subsidy from tuition was a welcome development.

The only thing I'd expect you to say is a scheme to create scholarships for about 50% of Nigeria varsities across the country.

Student loan that have been operational in the UK for over twenty years, no issues. Why will the Government even disburse cash to the institutions in the first place. WE ARE NIGERIANS AND MAJORLY PERFIDIOUS WHEN DEALING WITH CASH. The Government should have paid each student school fees direct to the institutions of learning after formal confirmation of admission.

I was never okay with subsidy Removal in oil sector becos i understand Any money that does not go to the people end up embezzled

Now look at all the initiative they came up with and rush to implement which one as yield desire or close to desired result

Nigeria is one of the capital poverty of the world ... subsidy and govt intervention is unavoidable to foster a productive economy

Already we are advancing into a generation that feels school is a scam ... subsidizing is the best form of promoting and enticing youths into education in Nig.
