In other climes, the government make effort to protect their citizens. Yes we expatriate, but it should not be at the mercy of the citizen. The government need protect us. However I won't be surprised if one greedy Nigerian is the one sitting on this betterment of the workers.

Sometimes it not their fault, the heads of Department that are citizens does encourage down payment of staff..
I once witnessed how ceramic company (ies) in Kogi pay little. A young hustler leg was condemned by a system malfunction which led to such disaster. A disheartening part was, a Nigeria head of operation told the whites to pay him 100k only for injury that cost him leg. The injury cost his family 5m to get him into workin condition back then in 2015 (it took 3yrs to heal wound & bone straightening). Imagine the value of 5m then. It was GoFundMe that save his life...

I thought it was airtel self. Go to shagamu axis. Go round the steel planta there. They place Nigerians on contract and pay them shit. Zero welfare. Loose a finger they just pay you ur usually weekly wage for a month or two and that is all.

The irony is that these places have workers union consisting of Nigerians but they are fine wiry it.
