During the quarter finals match between Aston villa and Psg, the commentator said if Aston villa wins the UCL and Manutd wins the Europa league there would be 7 English teams in next seasons UCL.

No one is reducing anything.

Still, I thought leagues were not supposed to exceed their quota.

When United won the Europa under Mourinho, the 4th club had to get pushed to Europa league the next season.
